I collaborated with another author doing some editing work

Hi, random question whilst this thread exists.
With co-authored works, is there any way that both parties can have a notification of comments etc? Or is there a setting for this that I have missed? I like to see how things are doing but find I have to go and search for the work and look manually (I know, an end of the world task but hey, I am curious)
