Looks like I was the last person in last night and first this morning. Bertha and I have your steaming hot caffeinated goodness ready for you after she's been rinsed with the sludge saved for Carl. The kettle is on for a fresh pot of tea for both Scotts and the lovely TG. I've brought some Christmas cookies for you. I have chocolate chip, peanut butter, peanut butter chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and sugar cookies. I'm doing ginger bread houses today. We will see how that goes. I can't believe tomorrow bus already Christmas Eve. My littley is getting very excited. I'm going to have my tea and enjoy the peace and quiet for a little while longer.
Jeff so sorry to hear about your dad. I'm glad he's out of surgery and doing better. Yes, everybody hug those you love a little tighter. Life is way to precious. I wrote a poem on the other side but I don't know when it will be verified. I hope everyone else is doing well and ready for Christmas. Not sure if anyone here celebrates but Happy Hanukkah. I'd love some hot tea please.

Happy birthday my dear friend. I hope you have a great day. Enjoy it and many more. Don't do anything too crazy. Oh wait it's you... I'm sure there will be lots of craziness.
Good morning and Happy Sunday. I've gathered all the mugs and left them to soak as I set Bertha abrew with her caffeinated greatness. The kettle is on for both Scotts and TG. A coffee awaits the beautiful Miss Curvy. I really want to get my comp story done but just not sure I can. This has been a hard week. My s/o lost a family member last weekend and I lost a school friend yesterday. Both to Cancer, one fought a long hard battle with breast cancer and the other a very short battle with an extremely rare form of. Life is so precious so please hug your loved ones close.
Now I'm going to have my tea and stare at my screen to see if the words will come. Hugs to all.
Good morning beautiful Miss Curvy. I'll wash up those mugs for you. Anyone have any advice on how I can have a story plot in my head but every time I sit to write it I go duh? I seriously want to get it in for the comp but it's not looking good. Today is my littley's last day of school before winter break. It's a half day and they will be having a class party. She's really excited. Next week both her cousins will be here during the day and I promised her we'd all do gingerbread houses. I've honestly never did one before so hoping it goes well. My weekend looks pretty easy but that never happens we'll see. I'm going to grab some hot tea and sit back and listen to the news. Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday.
Good morning Bill, Scott, and beautiful Miss Curvy. I'll have some hot tea please. It is bitter cold here in Jersey. Feels like 3f. Not supposed to get any warmer. We had some snow squalls yesterday that caused a huge accident in PA. There was 33 injuries and 2 fatalities. It was just terrible.
I believe I am all caught up on my wrapping and baking. I should be able to try to get back to my story. We will see.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day stay warm if you are experiencing the blast of cold and safe if you're near the fires in Australia.
Good morning Rump's family. BB is rinsed and de-sludged (saved for Carl) and filled with some of her best brew. The kettle is on for some hot tea. Life has been busy preparing for the holidays. I baked cookies yesterday and wrapped some gifts over the weekend. Feel like things will never get done.
I'm going to sit over here with my tea and catch up with what I've missed. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.
I think the ones that have been mentioned are all very deserving of this and I'd like to add Chrism for his willingness to help others as well as his wonderful stories he's posted.
Sprite for being a lovely person who is there for anyone that needs a friend and her fun nature.
I'm sure there is so many more that could be nominated. Lush has lots of lovely people here.
Good morning. BB is rinsed and de-sludged. Of course put aside for Carl. I
She is refilled and ready to give you your morning caffeine jolt. The kettle is on for tea.
G- I am trying to take care of me. It's hard with the holidays and all I have to do for that. Tonight my littley is singing in the school Christmas concert. She is excited.
I'm going to have some tea before my day starts. Simmie I hope your visit to the Dr goes well and pneumonia is all gone. I hope everyone has a wonderful day. (Hugs)

My entry as I remember those who cannot be with their families this holiday season
Good morning, thank you for the hot tea beautiful Miss Curvy. Sorry I've been MIA for awhile but real life has given me another blow. My mom had a mild heart attack. She is only 58. She has congestive heart failure with only 40% of her blood being pumped through her heart. She also has blockages. She is staying with us for now so she isn't under any stress. I now have my mom, mother-in-law, s/o, littley, and occasionally my youngest son. This is going to be a long holiday season.
On a better note my littley performed a tap routine at a tree lighting. She is so cute. She also started a second dance class which is ballet. Tomorrow is one of those Christmas concerts that are in school. She has an amazing voice.
We put our tree up yesterday and tonight my girl is going to help me decorate. I'm trying to keep my sanity and enjoy the holiday. Thank you all for being here.
Simmie I hope you are feeling better and I'm so sorry about your dog. TG and Lilly my son's gf is pregnant and due January 9. She is very anxious as well and has been having Braxton Hicks contractions for a couple weeks. We just keep hoping he stays put for awhile.
Good morning beautiful Miss Curvy and Grace. Thank you for the tea. I'll drink it as I get my littley ready for school. Happy Friday. Enjoy your day.
Good morning all who enter this fine establishment. I've talked dirty to BB after de-sludging her to get you the best caffeinated beverage on the web. The sludge is put aside for Carl. The kettle is on for all our lovely tea drinkers. I brought in some apple and pumpkin pie. We also have some of the Beautiful Miss Curvy's brownies.
Welcome EW this is a great place with lovely company.
Gil I'm so sorry to hear about your Aunts. Taking care of family is so very hard. Please try to find time to take some care of yourself.
Well time to wake the littley. Enjoy your day.
It's morning again even though it's barely 430am here, I just cannot sleep any longer. I've de-sludged BB and put it aside for Carl. She is now full and ready for the morning peeps who stop in craving her caffeinated goodness. The kettle is set for TG and both Scotts. I've found some brownies in the fridge for anyone who wants one. The mugs are gathered up and rinsed out.
Here's a cup of coffee for beautiful Miss Curvy when she arrives and I'm gonna have my tea and read Vanessa's newest poem. Hope everyone has a happy hump day.
Good morning all Rump's regulars. After some coercion Bertha has been de-sludged and rinsed out. Sludge saved of course for Carl. She is gurgling with her caffeinated goodness for all who enter. The kettle is on and ready for us tea drinkers. I'm sure TG and both Scotts will be along shortly for some. Miss Curvy put your feet up I got the mugs today, both washed and dried. I believe I have some brownies and strawberry cheesecake here.
I woke up feeling a little refreshed this morning. I actually slept for five hours. Ask me later and I'm sure I'll be exhausted. Hoping to get some writing done today. We will see. My littley's performance was postponed until next week. It was cold, wet and slushy. Not good weather for tap dancing.
Jeff I'm glad you're on the mend. We have coyotes here in Jersey. I live on 12 acres of land, I'm set away from the town but have seen them up there as well. We used to have chickens and between the coyotes, fox, raccoons, and owls we had lost them all.
Well I sure hope everyone has a wonderful day. (Hugs)
Good morning Lilly. Great to see you around this great establishment. I've gotten Bertha up and running. Saved the sludge for Carl. The kettle is on for tea. It's a snow day here for my littley. She is happy but this may cancel her performance tonight. She was doing a tap dance at a local tree lighting. We've been practicing everyday. She has another one on Friday hopefully with a little bit warmer temps.
I think Curvy may have left some brownies. I'll pull them out. In the meantime what can I get ya? Beer, wine, fine lickers? Have a great day.
Good morning Beautiful Miss Curvy. I'm just glad to be almost done with my Christmas shopping. I can concentrate on decorating and baking. I made chocolate chip pancake snowmen this morning. My littley loves them. I'm making baked ziti for my son's bday dinner. He is very happy with that.
Last night I took some crocheted items to a lovely mother to give her daughter for Christmas. She is 5 and has leukemia. She absolutely loves Spider-Man so I asked my mother-in-law to make her a poncho, blanket, and hat. I also wanted to include her little sister and picked up some things for them both to do quietly after chemo treatments. I'm not trying to make myself look better but because the look in the mother's face was truly all I need for this season. She was so happy with tears in her eyes to see a person she only knows from Facebook could do this for her family. It truly is the reason for the season. I'm excited to see her littles faces. Now another cup of tea please.
Good morning. Looks like I'm the first one here today. Sorry about that long post last night. I just could not sleep. Anyway Bertha is gurgling with her caffeinated goodness after I de-sludged and rinsed her out. Of course, I saved the sludge for Carl or anyone who needs a kick. The kettle is on for TG and the Scott's, as well. I'm sharing apple pie and mixed berry pie today.
The mugs are washed, rinsed and air drying. What can I get ya lovely people? Beer, whine, fine lickers?

Given the crack about earplugs, I'm betting something in the vein of The Wiggles. I hear parents cursing that particular Aussie export constantly. My son never got into them that much but I do remember him watching them on occasion. Were it something more in the vein of Raffi or Fred Penner, earplugs would not be necessary. They are actually pretty good singer-songwriters even if they do mostly cater to the younger set.

Scott I loved the wiggles and saw the original ones in concert twice. Captain Feathersword would play some songs for the adults. He did some Beatles songs and a few others. I also enjoyed Fred Penner when my brother was younger.
Sara I am taking her to see JoJo Siwa. She is currently obsessed with all thing JoJo and Bowbow.
G- my boys wanted to see Kid Rock, Charlie Daniels, and Godsmack when they were younger. (we did the wiggles and bear in the blue house when they were Harley's age. We also saw WWE wrestling when they were a bit older.) We've now seen Godsmack three times and Kid Rock once. My oldest is my concert goer and my younger son prefers motor cross or any type of mudding event, truck pulls or races.

Jeff- I'm sorry about your back pain. I completely understand and feel for you. It sucks when you can't move without pain. Feel better soon.

Today (Sunday) is my oldest son's birthday. I can't believe he is 22. I look at him and wonder where the time has gone. As most parents say it all just flew by. He and I were alone throughout my pregnancy and first year. We have a very special bond. His biological father was in the Navy and out on a ship during my pregnancy and refused to believe he was gonna be a dad.
Anyway, now he is preparing to be an amazing dad.
I don't want to see another store for awhile. I took my mom shopping today and they were so crowded. My anxiety was horrible. I know she appreciated it but I really prefer to shop online when possible. We are bracing for our first winter weather. The weather service say 5-11 inches which probably means either a dusting to 3 inches or 12-15 inches. If anyone is still around I'd love a cup of tea and a shot of something to help me sleep.

You prepared and hosted an ENTIRE Thanksgiving dinner and THEN went out and did most of your Christmas shopping!? I get tired just reading about.

Hey Jeff, I did and was up at 6 to send my S/o to work then went and braved the mall today. I have finished shopping for my littley and a few others. I only have a couple others to finish up. I bought my oldest son a record player and a brand new Beatles record. He also has many that he kind of claimed here. I think between this and my younger sons Keurig, I will have the best gifts lol. My littley's "big" gift is her first concert. Me I'm gonna need earplugs but I can't wait to see her face. I will have to say I am completing exhausted.

I'd love to have a cup of tea to go with my apple crumb pie. I am hoping to relax the rest of the weekend so I can decorate next week. I hope every is having a great Friday and wonderful weekend.
My day is finally done and I'm exhausted. I spent almost twelve hours with my brothers and I think I was glad to see them go. We had so much company throughout the day. Both my boys and their significant others stopped in as well as a young girl that I considered a daughter is in town from upstate NY, her husband is in the Army, they came with their girls to visit as well. I also braved Walmart this evening and got most of my Christmas shopping done. I hope all who celebrated today had a great day.
Good morning beautiful Miss Curvy. Thank you for the tea. Its cold here but no snow. I posted a poem on the other side about my HS rivalry. It's something I wrote last night. I have my newspaper and am ready to see what kind of bargains I can get tomorrow. I don't need to much with only my littley believing in Santa Clause but there are always some good deals. I really hope all that are celebrating have a safe and wonderful day. Happy Thanksgiving.
With winter coming and the holidays upon us I just want to tell anyone who may struggle please reach out. You are not alone. Anyone can send me a pm. I'm always here with an ear and a hug.

I also want to thank you all for being here. I recently saw a psychiatrist for the first time in years and I told her about my online family (to an extent) and she thinks it's a great thing for me. I know my counselor encourages me to share more when I need the help. I really appreciate knowing I always have someone around if I need to talk. You are all the best.
Double post, sorry. I'll use this one to ask for a drink to help me sleep please.
It is 1am here in Jersey and I should be asleep. I was very busy today preparing for tomorrow and also we had to have a service call with DirecTV for repairs. The serviceman is really great. Very friendly and does know his stuff. Unfortunately we have to wait until Saturday for one of our new boxes as the one he brought had a defect.
My plans and menu for tomorrow
Start my day finding a newspaper for all the black Friday sales
Followed by hot tea and looking for the best prices for some items my littley wants. While listening to our highschool football game. We have one of the longest rivals with a team from across the river in PA. It dates back to 1905.
Then breakfast of either pancakes or eggs.

Now for the real meal of the day. We will have
Turkey (my first time brining it and it's in a huge pickle bucket)
Gravy
Mashed potatoes
Stuffing (I made two dishes of this)
Baked Corn
Greenbean casserole with fried onions
Candied sweet potatoes
Broccoli
Brusslesprouts
Deviled eggs
Pickled eggs
Cranberry sauce
Pickles
Olives (black and green)
Crescent rolls or fresh bread
Pumpkin Pie
Apple crumb
Double crust Apple pie
Dreamwhip pie
Cheesecake
Brownies
Rice pudding

My sons are not having dinner with us but my brothers and mother will be here. And of course those that live here. My littley, mil, and S/O.

I am so thankful for all of you. You have really become my family. I feel much more open with each of you than so many people around me. I'm so happy I not only stumbled across this site but decided to join(even if it took me a year to do so) I hope those of you celebrating have good food, good friends/family, good weather if you're traveling and just a wonderful day. I wish I could hug each of you. Thank you all for being here and being you. I especially thank you all for being so accepting to everyone that comes to the bar but also welcomes them into the mix.
