Well I am back from the Dr and I've torn the meniscus so I have a consultation with the surgeon in two weeks. Looks like I will be hobbling around for a bit and probably know lifting my littley or being down on the floor with her. Ugh.

Good morning rumpies. I am determined to finish my story today and will let you know when I do. I know last minute again but time has not been on my side as of late. Bertha is rinsed and brewing our own special blend of coffee. I also have the tea kettle on for anyone who may need some tea with me. If you're on the opposite side of the world I have the bleers, whines, and lickers as well.
Today I go find out what is up with my knee. Hopefully just a brace for now. We will see. Have a great day all.

Good morning family. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I am recovering today from all the family visits yesterday as well as cooking most of it. We had ham with lots of sides. I'll have Bertha up and running momentarily and hot water for tea and cocoa. I'm taking as much of the day off as possible in hopes of recovering. The pain I'm in is worth it after seeing my littley so happy and having my boys here most of the day. My oldest bought his girlfriend a demo car. She was so surprised and excited. I can pass on the torch to another generation.

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve. My turn to get BB up and going. While the coffee is brewing and the tea kettle is on I'll rinse out the mugs and give the bar a quick wipe. Today is a busy busy day but it will all be worth it for my littley. I'm so happy the elf goes back to the North Pole tonight. I don't have too many places for it to go. I'm going to have some tea and enjoy the peace before my day begins.

Thank you Miss Curvy for getting Bertha running. I've brought bacon, eggs, toast and orange juice today. I also have poppyseed cake and jello. Didn't get any writing or wrapping done yesterday. Spent the day cooking and prepping for the holidays. Going to a family get together today although I would rather send the littley with the mil and stay home. I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday. Good morning and happy Saturday. Today is G's birthday if you all could get over to the thread Laura started he would love it. All of his drinks are on me today. I also baked a cake for him so you all can share when he gets here.
I cannot believe Christmas is only three days away. Anyone wanna come give me a hand wrapping gifts I would love the company.

Good morning. Bertha is rinsed out filled up and ready to go. Water for hot tea and cocoa is ready. Only a few more shopping days until Christmas. My room looks like an Amazon warehouse at the moment. If anyone would like to be an elf and come help me wrap all these toys I would love it. Seeing my girl's face on Christmas morning will be worth it all though.
So sorry to hear about the furbabies. I understand how everyone feels. Within the last year and a half we lost our dog (we had her since she could leave her momma) she was eleven years old and grew up with my boys. We also lost two cats and a kitten. It's hard on anyone.
I hope Jen and Sara are feeling a bit better today. I went for an MRI last night to check out my knee. The pain can get pretty bad.
Now I must go move the elf again and start my day. Hugs for all who needs it and look out for the mistletoe hanging around the bar.

Good morning my dear sweet friends. Thank you all for thinking of me as I was away. Life can get hectic around the holidays and as Sir Larry said my life is not always so easy. Good morning family. Give me a moment to get Bertha all cleaned up a ready to go. Coffee and tea will be ready soon. I'm sorry I've been MIA. I've been really busy with holiday preparation, dealing with life stuff, and as always doctors. Tomorrow I go for an MRI to see if I tore the meniscus in my knee. Just another thing to add to my list.
Anyway my littley is excited for Santa to come. Me, I'll be happy her elf will be going back to the North Pole soon. Who knew how hard it is to find places to move a little stuffed elf.
I don't think my story will be complete for the comp as I've truly had no time to write. I've just been dealing with too much family drama here to be able to concentrate. Stumbles in and looks around blurry eyed. Rinses the sludge out of Bertha and gets her all cleaned up ready to go. Switches her on and breathes in the aroma of brewing coffee. Puts the kettle on for hot tea and cocoa. Looks around and gathers up the mugs to give them a good rinsing and a quick wipe down of all the tables and bar. Set out some pies for ya. I have pumpkin pie, apple crumble, and cheesecake.

I've been there too. My older boys (18 and 21) Watched a bug's Life and Toy Story until the tapes stopped working. I'm glad I could make you think of some fond memories. My four year old is showing me a whole new side to life. She is very different from her brothers.

Good morning all. It's a huge mess here in Jersey. The snow turned to ice and people have been stranded on highways over night. Kids never got home from school and were sleeping in the cafeteria. I'm glad my crew all were safe and sound. Snow day today for the littley. She likes that. She's on an Alice in Wonderland and Corpse Bride kick these days so that is what I will watch all day.
