I've been at your beck and call for 10 days. I've been beside you through two surgeries. Tolerated your attitude and then the flirting with the nurses. I did all of these things without thought to myself. I didn't see my daughter for days, I slept in a chair, and didn't have any of my own things brought to me including my own medication. Now that we are home and from not taking my meds I am in severe pain, having hot and cold flashes as well as mentally and physically exhausted. What do I get? Rub my feet, rub my back, I'm cold, can I have a drink, etc. When can I take care of myself? When do I get to relax? I don't regret taking care of you but now I need to take care of me.
I really want to do one of those ancestry DNA tests. I'd love to know where I've really come from. My whole family is broken and the stories don't always mesh. I can say with the Irish I'm also italian as my father's name literally means from Naples. I'm also Dutch and Indian. My S/o has a family member that came here on the Mayflower. It's interesting to be able to know that.

I think my ordeal is finally over. One more night here for observation and all should be good. He has to make some changes to keep this from happening again but overall things should be normal again soon.

They did not do his surgery today as he was set up as an add-on and the OR was never free. I'm really hoping first thing tomorrow. I was going to go home tonight but was very worried the bleeding would start again also he is not the best patient so for the nurses sake it is best I'm here.
Good morning. I'm so grateful for all of you. We had an uneventful night and I slept (crashed) in a recliner. Waiting to hear when surgery will be today and as long as all goes well I'm going home tonight. I'm missing my girl for sure although I just talked to her on the phone.

Howdy everyone. I'm still at the hospital. Spending the night here. Surgery will be some time tomorrow. Five days of blood is enough for me. Hoping to get some sleep tonight but don't think I will. Bill I hope you are doing better today after all those doctors visits. I'm not a fan of going to the VA as it's always such a process.

Let's see if I can help a Margarita for Sara and whiskey for Kal. Anything else tonight. I've spent my days going between the ER, sleeping (or not really) in the hospital and back to the ER then to the doctor. I need something to help me relax.
BTW if tequila is involved I'm pretty sure I've danced on this bar before so once more for our groom to be could maybe happen. Of course Sara will be doing those shots with me and will have to join in.
Evening friends. It's nice to be home in my own bed. I've been reading up a storm. Really trying to maybe catch up on so many great stories. Three weddings on lush. We will need to throw an amazing celebration for all of you. I married my husband twice. Not sure why but I did. On our ten year anniversary my family through us a party and the dear friend who passed away last week renewed our vows with us. I've decided if I ever do it again my son is going to do the marrying. He is an ordained minister (as in he went online and figured out what to do and got ordained)

Good morning my dear friends. I really need some hot tea. I've spent the night in a chair in the hospital with my s/o. He broke a blood vessel in his nose and they couldn't stop the bleeding. After 5 hours in the Emergency Room he had surgery last night. So far no blood today. I am ready to go home and sleep in a bed though. It was best I stay as he can be a very poor patient.
Coffee please, Bill. The snow is falling now. Just about everything is closed around here. Lazy day here. Gonna try to read some. No writing for me at the moment. Just trying to keep my littley busy until she can go out and play.
