Isn't Musk buying votes for Trump and didn't his mother recently call for Americans to vote several times if they could get away with it?
Looks like 7 people in Michigan are being prosecuted for their part in trying to do just that in tha state's primary elections in August of this year. 4 voters and 3 election officials.
I bet these offenders are all Republicans. If any of them were Democrats - Fox Noise and News Max would have been all over this story - playing it non-stop the last few days.
I just watched a video (below) this morning - recounting this particular incident (and others occurring, nationwide). This is one reason I don't have a Harris/Walz sign in my front or side yards.
I and another person about 6 houses to the South of me are the only 'known' Democrats within two blocks and I know he and his wife are, as they have signs in their yard boosting the Dem candidates nationwide & for Missouri, this year.
I knocked on their door late one afternoon a few days ago to ask him where he got the signage and confirmed to him that I approved and who I was, his long time neighbor down the street, etc. He said he recognized my name, and his wife asked if I was related to the Trump supporter about a block away from them and I replied that I was almost ashamed to admit that I was, indeed. Their kids went to school with my brother's kids and that's how they knew of my last name.
He advised me that he had almost regretted putting up the signs in his yard.
He next told me, that almost every morning for the last 2 weeks he has to go out and collect empty beer cans, liquor bottles and other assorted trash from his front yard. Thrown there by sub-humans for Trump. There are so many Trump and 'Take Back America Again' signs littering the yards and roadway intersections around this town - it is uncomfortable to realize how outnumbered I am - should violence actually break out after the election in November. It is intimidating.
My parents were respected and well liked and had lived in this town since the late 50s. My mother won seven elections as a Democrat for a county office between 1974 and 2002 when she finally retired, serving 32 years in her capacity, last having a Republican squaring off against her in 1982. I did the whole campaining thing, driving around, asking permission to put up candidate signs - then later driving around to collect signage after the elections - thank people for their votes, etc. I did that (with my brothers helping too) many times in the 80s and 90s. My neighbors with the Harris/Walz signage only moved here to this town in 2005 and knew none of that family history.
Until recently, many of my neighbors also knew I had my aged father living with me the last several years and I was his care-giver. I think because of that we didn't catch many dirty looks nor did I have crap thrown in our yards.
Because my brothers and their clans are vocal Trump supporters (while also pretending to be Born Again Xtians) - I think my father and I were also somewhat protected a bit by what reputation my siblings had built up in this small town the last 30 years (population >5500) and by Trump supporters not wanting to test the waters of our property as my siblings and their kids are proudly crazy - so by association, I might be batshit nuts myself and also armed to the teeth. As to count one, I feel like one of maybe a dozen sane people in town and on count two - I've got my bases covered - just in case.
Some shitbird farmed some of my property, with his diesel spewing 4x4 Dodge Ram one evening back in May, when I was at a hospital visting my father. I didn't see it occur, but there was evidence on the street (black marks of the street ripped up) by two sets of tires which originated in front of a house where the occupant has four Trump 2024 type of signs in his front yard. The tire tracks extended about 50 feet North from the neighbors driveway, then went around a turn to the East and it was at that point you could see the truck either got away from the driver, or he purposely drifted sideways & then accelerated again and drove through my property to rip up some sod - which he did for about 100 more feet before he eased off the accelerator and climbed back onto the normally quiet street.
I have a pretty good idea who it was, but he's a 25 year old...6'6" 300 pound concrete worker who could probably break me in half and not raise a sweat. His truck is plastered with a dozen vulgar Trump bumperstickers. Fucking cretin narrowly missed slamming his $60,000 truck into a 60 year old, 4 foot diameter burr oak tree trunk.
My father passed on in July and many evenings this summer - I'm watching people drive slowly (speed limit 15mph) by my house and property, most of them eyeballing me weirdly and very few returning my attempts at waving and smiling. I don't know who these fux are and there is little reason for strange vehicles and ATVs to drive on this street unless a person actually lives in one of the 30 some odd neighborhood houses. It's just a horseshoe shaped, chip and seal - rural small town street. Other neighbors have suffered stolen trailers, grills and even a swing set from this street in front of my house over the last few years - so people just driving by and not even waving back - is a bit concerning. It feels like they are casing the joint. My father had a wood splitter on wheels, a car dolly and his bass boat on a trailer out in the open pasture next to his house. I've an ATV, my boat and trailer in my side yard. Since none of this equipment is plastered with vulgar Trump bumper stickers - I feel they are definitely targets of opportunity.
Prior to 1998, this town and county were predominanty Democrat leaning. Now it's predominantly inhabited by ICK. I vote in person and I'm curious what that voting precinct circus will look like on Tuesday, November 5th.
I've never carried my firearms with me in my car or on my person, although - since 2017, I could have been. I'd prefer to make it out of this lifetime existence with never shooting anyone (or being shot). But that's a bit like my abortion stance. I never wanted one, but it was nice knowing it was available if some emergency situation ever arose without being prosecuted for murder.
If we can make it to the next congressional certification in January without mini-civil war skirmishes breaking out around the country, I feel we'll be fortunate. I'm sure the Trumpublicans already have their vote stealing schemes in play.
I found this on PBS' website. Haven't seen a mention of it on any of the major media outlet websites. I fail to understand why the domestic networks and cable news channels are not pointing out to their audience - where to find copies of the Jack Smith documentation is located. Unless they too are in the bag for Trump's return.

If you'd prefer to have an AI voice read the document to you - there is this link, located on a VERY conservative domestic website - people who can't stand the criminal regime which is running against Harris/Walz.

The poles are cold hearted extremists who believe the world revolves around them.
And there's roughly 800 thousand of them of voting age in Pennsylvania who understand exactly the threat that Putin sitting in Kyiv, next to Zelinsky's head on a pike - eyeballing the rest of Europe - and specifically Poland - as his next target - represents.
Harris is presidential. Trump is a catastrophe waiting to shit on America and the world.
This is funny as hell.

Louis Money, a former employee, told the outlet that Robinson would often purchase two or more “previews,” which consisted of a viewing in a private booth, over the course of a night.
The future lieutenant governor also bought “hundreds” of bootleg porn videos that Money sold on the side, he said.
He told Raleigh station WRAL that Robinson’s tastes lay in “just straight American porn.”
“And I don’t trust anybody that doesn’t like good old American porn,” he went on. “So, no, he shouldn’t be [judged]. He should be judged on everything else, but he should not be judged for this.”

Trump's choice of venue at his rallies in this presidential election cycle has been of particular interest to critics and observers, who say the former president is intentionally choosing locations known for their racist histories.
Specifically, some of Trump's rallies have been scheduled at "sundown towns." A sundown town is "a town that excluded nonwhite people—most frequently African Americans—from remaining in town after sunset," according to Britannica.
I do not recall Kamala Harris' acceptance speech at the 2020 DNC - but that's mostly because the Democrats didn't gather for a super-spreader event - and, I already knew I was voting straight ticket Democrat. It's worth listening to now.
Last night, she nailed her speech and got so deep under Trump's skin - he later couldn't manage to complete two coherent ranting sentences when he called into Fox Entertainment to blather and moan and complain and lie.
I especially like how she directly quoted her mother - "Never do anything half-assed." - another pointed dig at the GOP. Every time she speaks - she exudes confidence, professionalism, charisma, empathy and competence (without chaos or indecision).
This is the next 2 term president of the USA. Now let's vote for majority Senate and House to complete the trifecta and remove the Mitch McConnell's, Joe Manchins and other troublesome, backwards thinking pieces of shit from congress.
I did nazi this coming, months ago. He's wanting a cabinet level job in a crazy administration to burnish his pedestrian whackjob résumé

(Reuters) -Independent U.S. presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is considering ending his campaign to join forces with Republican rival Donald Trump, Kennedy's running mate said in an interview posted online on Tuesday.
RFK Jr - that trailblazer...that smart third choice...that savvy uniter with the iconic name. Turns out he's been attempting to negotiate his personal endorsement & the votes he thinks he has for a plum cabinet assignment in the Trump or Harris administration.
This is the double-talking, gravelly voiced putz some of you have been clamoring for.

Please tell me why vegetarians won't eat meat ...but wear leather shoes ,belts, coats and purses. .........It's all a matter of choice...don't you think ....no one is right or wrong . If you don't like whom is running ...don't vote ...let your neighbor decide whom is elected!!🍷
Vegetarians won't eat meat, because the smell of roasted flesh makes them want to puke. Here's an anecdote you may or may not get. A buddy and I used to take lunch at a steakhouse within 2 miles of where we worked. This was more than ten years ago - so you were probably still eating whatever your parents threw in front of you.
He was 30 and I was 45. We both tried choking down the 50 ounce Cowboy Cut Porterhouse with 3 pounds of side dishes - anyone who could do that - got their $60 meal for free. Provided they didn't vomit any part of it out, within 10 minutes of declaring they were done. --- It's a midwestern American thing so it probably won't apply to you.
His Corvette had seats and interior trimmed out in the same glove soft cattle leather that his jacket and mine and his driving gloves were manufactured from - cowhide.
My cowboy boots were made from bird (ostrich) and his sandals were made from pig skin.
I've bought and given as gifts - rabbit fur coats, minx fur coats, chinchilla fur coats. Gave my mother a fox fur stole, 40 years ago at Christmas.
And I am a progressive liberal who grew up to regret many of my past decisions. Maybe someday, you will too. Dasiy
This is a straight question to those who might know.
Do American junior high schools (grades 7 through 8 (or 9 in some instances)) still teach anything about the Civil War or the American Revolutionary war?
Do our public schools still require students to be able to recite the preamble to the constitution?
That used to be set in stone in the 1940s to 1984ish to even pass that American history class or have to take that entire class again, and again, and again...
You could graduate if you hadn't flunked out by 10th grade because of your multitude of other learning issues. Nobody got flunked out of HS because they couldn't recite the first ten amendments of the Constitution and identify them as THE BILL OF RIGHTS - but they might get laughed at by the other kids in class.
Are the 27 amendments to the US Constitution still taught and discussed before our children even enter High School?
Are the Bill of Rights still taught and required (on tests) to be named in detail - for at least 1 week each school year - or are they briefly mentioned and then it's off to discussing Michael Jackson's career or Madonna's marriages and other assorted drivel - in American history classes of today?
I fear America has been so fucking dumbed down - thanks to Ronald Reagan's administration and all the following GOP administrations and congressional approvals (or denials) since 1981... That the majority of our populace really doesn't know jackfuckingshit about our Constitution aside from Amendment #2.
Yanno, he makes a lot of sense. This would be the end result of 40 years of Ronald Reagan GOP dumbfuckification of the Department of Education in America.
