Nice! It's a date! Then we'll go pick up some hot men for post-dessert dessert.

Hot man reporting for duty! Just don't dump me on dpw, or this is going to get real awkward, real quick.

I once had a lemon myrtle encrusted swordfish up in the rainforest near Port Douglas and it blew my mind. I can't remember what they served with it, but it's the best thing I've ever eaten. I've been chasing it ever since. Oh my God!
I'm quite fickle, but at the moment it's definitely Scarlett Johansson.

And maybe that guy who plays Dean from Supernatural. Get fucked! As if you wouldn't!
My primary source for new stories has been the competitions. There's been about 180 from the last three rounds alone.

Next, I'm slowly working my way through my friends' stories, typically prioritising those who send out a bulk email and those I've seen submit a new story on my activity feed (when it's not flooded by posts about someone I don't know's gallery picture).

Then I tend to look at the stories some of my friends are voting and commenting on, again from my activity feed. But I'm a bit more discriminating on who I follow into the fray, given some of my friends don't have the best taste in stories. Then again, I should watch what I say, especially as they're probably friends because they liked one of mine. Bit of a Woody Allen moment.

The notifications I receive from authors I'm following is a no-brainer. But I almost always drop everything and read those ones straight away, rather than just dump them into my reading queue.

Lastly, I'll sometimes follow the links at the bottom of each story to something similar. Bit of a story lotto, but sometimes rewarding.

At some point, I'll troll through the categories looking for something that blows my skirt up, no doubt starting with the Editor's Picks and the Recommended Reads. Heaven forbid, maybe even the new stories. But so far I've got enough to read with the above that I haven't got around to it yet.

For promoting my own, my forum signature is my primary source, and I keep that updated with my latest story. I have asked a few friends to read some of my stories in the context of, "I'd love to know what you think", but that's pretty much it.

As for the bulk emails, I have thought about it for competition entries, especially close to the deadline. But I got the ten votes I needed, so I didn't bother. I don't like it, mainly for self-esteem reasons, but I don't mind others sending to me. I think Buzz makes a good point, if you can't email your friends...
I gently stopped her, preferring to keep her panties around her thighs.
There's also:

Lisa;
SITTING;
Saga;
Mazza;
LadyX;
Alexandra_A; and
Metilda.

And of course, another vote for Sprite and Dancing_Doll.
And don't forget the honeydew melon. Perfectly ripe and a little chilled...yum!
We've got a strict nudity policy at our place, but there is something to be said for the tight, little t-shirt or singlet and a pair of simple panties. Oh, my...

The other thing that's revving me up of late is that same snug t-shirt and a pair of checked or striped pyjama pants. There's a cuteness to it that makes unwrapping her goodies so much sexier.
Gun to my head, I guess I'd take one. Close my eyes and think of Carrie Fisher.
I loved the show! So much so, I even have both seasons of the spin off series, Joey, on DVD. And no blushing emoticons here, you haters. I'm proud of it!

I don't know about a reunion. They'd have their work cut out for them. As much as it pains me, I think the moment may have passed. They tried to bring back the highly successful Hey Hey It's Saturday down here a few years ago, and it tanked. Times change, people move on. It's probably best to leave it as something positive in people's memories...for those who actually liked it.

Then again, I'm gagging to see what they're all up to now. Just don't fuck it up too badly.
The Project on Channel Ten. Two Australian women just died in Bali from apparent food poisoning. My thoughts to their family and friends.
I'm almost exclusively first person past tense. Although I am writing a first person story at the moment with a series of third person inserts to get at what my protagonist doesn't know, but the reader needs to.

I find first person much easier to write, essentially because it's my experience, or a version of it. I don't have to keep track of anything else or what anyone else is thinking or feeling. It's just a matter of observing their behaviour. I also find that first person puts me, as a reader, more in the story, rather than watching it from afar.

I should, and probably will branch out one day. But in the meantime, I want to get it nailed before I move on.
Me too.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had an awesome night last night, whether you were out and about watching the bungers, or slobbing at home in front of a Breaking Bad marathon. Man, Walt is such a dumbass!

All the best
A tiny tub of probiotic yoghurt and a couple of Cruskits.
I can only please one person a day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.
I'll mirror the comments above. I've been having a rough time of late myself, and I haven't been writing either. A few deadlines though have forced my hand, and I've found that getting back into it has improved my mood.

But while that works for me, what's more important is what works for you. If you think writing will help, then write. If it's just going to bog you down, particularly if you're writing personal stories, then maybe go for a walk on the beach instead. The best thing is to do something good for yourself that nurtures you.

As for your writing itself, I just checked out your last two stories and thought they were quite good, for what it's worth. They were interesting stories and well structured. I thought your imagery too was strong, and I had no trouble picturing the scenes. There were a few rough edges here and there, as there are for all of us, but the only way to smooth those out is practice, practice, and more practice. The more you write, the better you'll get. For someone as young as you to be writing as well as you are, you should definitely keep writing.

All the best.
I'd clear my throat, all deep and manly like, and say, "How about that taxi ride?"
