I think we're alone now (cover)- The Killers

The Killers cover this song? Who's it by originally? I really want to hear it!
Ask her if she's ever been attracted to you. Just say it in a playful way. If she avoids the question, you'll have to let it go. But it won't ruin your friendship. Hopefully she'll 'fess up.
To be honest, I don't think what anyone says here is going to affect you at all. You're going to make your own decision and that's fine. You're soft, you're naive, you're the victim, it's all good. Don't blame yourself, blame the woman you've never met. An online relationship is ONLINE. Who knows, you'll probably be chatting to her again tomorrow (considering how sweet you are) and I really couldn't care less.

All I want to know, is how does someone miss a birthday three times a day? Genuinely, I don't understand what that means. Do you have three birthdays all on the same day?

When I first read the thread title I thought it was about women shaving men's faces. That's kinda hot.

Haha, so did I! Which is why I clicked on it. Big mistake!

And I cannot abide the idea of pubic hair. Seriously, just thinking about it grosses me out. I don't care how often you shower or anything. Just... no. And removing it DEFINITELY doesn't make me think of being pre-pubescent. WTF? Is it like my tits then disappear too? And my legs get skinny again? No. The difference between a girl and a woman is not distinguished by having hair down there.

Finally, as for face-shaving, I don't know why a woman wouldn't just wax instead? Shaving wouldn't last long.

Your post about my suggestion for an older/younger category was so jumbled up that I was too lazy to pick it apart. But if you go back and read it you pretty much say you disagree with me but then state the very reason I suggested an older/younger or May/December category should exist. You said that there is nothing to suggest that the "mature" category is only sex between two old people... I never said it was, I said it sounds like it is. "Mature" sounds like a category about older people having sex not a 20 year old having sex with a 50 year old, for example. Since there is no specific category that is about older people having sex and no specific category about huge age gaps between sex partners I suggested it as I feel it is a valid category to have since that is a popular theme. A theme that tends to override a lot of other themes when people are searching for stories. By having stories about grandpa popping a pill and boning grandma in the same category as a 19 year old having sex with her friend's dad it becomes tedious to search for stories. Sure there is " " but that encompasses the widest range of stories and it's for finding something fucked up pretty much but not specifically a story about younger partners with older ones. I am pretty sure that if you post a story in "mature" then post the same story in "older/younger" it will get more views in older/younger every time.

This post by you is idiotic since you were the one who chose to engage me in a negative and frankly - stupid - way about something that you misunderstood to begin with.

I am currently in the process of writing an older/younger story and have put all the chapters of it in . At least two readers have said they were expecting something elseelse because it was in that category. I would never have considered putting it in mature; to me, that category is for pensioners getting it on.

I don't get Benedict Cumberbatch. He's a good actor but that doesn't escape the fact he looks like a lizard.

i know! i totally don't get why people like him. he's... the dictionary definition of ugly.
oh, gross. almost as gross as having pubic hair. i don't believe and it and it definitely won't stop me doing what i do.

"Yeah, just code it," she said casually... Eeek. Code terrifies me, lol. I have to get Liz to Photoshop umbrellas for me when I can't find pics I like smile

Actually, even I could probably definitely do that (she said confidently) but I've seen it in a few stories and it is a pain in the buttocks to mod. Once you put a story into edit mode, you just get this wall of text, with no spaces and it's really difficult to see if the paragraphs and spacing are okay.

MySpace, lol. Remember that!? Good times :)

Haha, I don't have a clue about code either! Though I'm not bad with Photoshop. Thanks for the advice, I'll try out the message thing when I submit my next story.
I usually write my stories on Word 2010 but when I copy and paste the text to submit a story, the formatting gets screwed up. I have to go through and manually put in the paragraph breaks as well as remembering which words were in italics/bold. Am I missing a trick???

For what it's worth, I like it.

Honestly, that's all I needed to hear!
I've written 600 words of the next part of my series. I kind of like the pressure of having to write fast to keep people hooked. And the writing then reflects exactly who I am in those couple of days. I couldn't bear to write it all beforehand and then tinker with it before steadily releasing it. Wouldn't work for me. And I don't have the zeal to write a whole novel without getting constant feedback. Comments and messages do shape where I go with it.
Neither. I just find the whole WRITING thing sometimes doesn't come to me. But once I get going, it's fine.
I often write a line and think 'wow, where did that come from?' but my latest favourite was inspired by something I saw on TV about being buried in an avalanche. The narrator said that it could make you lose all idea of which way is up and down etc. So I translated that into:

'I was so far out of my depth that I didn't even know which direction to swim.'

Idk. I liked it better before. Now I'm embarrassed.
When you proofread it, maybe add a word but find no huge awful parts, it's done.
6th place, I'm cool with that. Actually, I'm dead excited. I'd be jumping up and down in my seat if my ass weren't so sore. Congrats to everyone else who placed.
man, i wish there were MORE rules. people be writing some crazy stuff. if only i could unread it.

I quite like those browncoffee. Not sure grayscale would work all that well on the site though.

I agree, but trying to put in red looked... ridiculous. I'm glad you like them anyway. That's enough for the girl who got a C in art!
