I have come very close to meeting a few of my lush friends. One of them, I was within a few miles of while I was on vacation, however I wasn't able to spare the time to meet up with them. Having waist length hair, when I go places, people often comment on my hair. One afternoon, I was sitting in a local bar after a rough day at work. There were only a couple of guys and myself there, one of the guys started to lay it on thick and heavy with me, then he made his move, asking me "So, how long have you been growing your hair?" Being in no mood to deal with his need for ego strokes, I answered, "All my life..." His friend gave him quite a ribbing for walking into that one. Well, I don't remember my daughter doing things that would make me scream when she was younger, she was a really well behaved baby and toddler, so when she misbehaved, I didn't know how to deal with it, but....
From the time she started Kindergarten, she would do her homework....which getting her to do that is a major accomplishment in itself....but when she would go to school, if the teacher didn't ask for it (or more likely, she didn't hear the teacher asking for it) she wouldn't turn it in. Many times she and I have had arguments about it, I couldn't figure out why in the heck she would spend so much time doing it and then not turn it in! This continues to perplex me to this day...I'm trying to hold out for a couple more years until she is out of school at least!
Oh I don't have any yet, but I am planning on getting a few small ones.

Oh I do love a man who cooks, but I love a man who washes the dishes after he cooks, even more! My ex once cooked me dinner....he was an excellent cook, but because he did it for a living, he was used to having dishwashers come and get the dirty dishes and washing them. He used every pot and pan we owned and several plates making a 4 course meal for 2....which he left all of it for the dishwasher (aka me) to wash....
