hey thanks very kind of you. Issues 4 hernias 2 lower back l4/l5 , l5/s1. Was supposed to be operated on until i met my neurosurgeon , told me to go home that the hernias would shrink and the pain in my leg would get better. He was right, keep in shape, watch my weight, just my back goes out ever so often. My cervical hernia's brought me to my knees, my osteopath saved me. My knees on a scale of 1 to 4, 4 needing knee replacement are at 3.5 my surgeon told me after my operation. I have done it all. Even electro acupuncture. Had epidurals for my back, cortizone, witch doctor. If you can suggest something to help me with my knees I'm in.
I have had chronic pain for a very long time and not complaining when i see a guy with a crutch in each hand literally dragging his feet to get to work and he smiles at me, how can I complain.

Tonya, I have been paying a bit of attention to back, knee, hip, etc replacements. Family members and friends of family members.
A friend of my late mother's had both knees replaced at the same time because she didn't want the down time repeated. Grin.
A youngish man who had done everything about his back but suffered dearly finally went to UVA (teaching hospitals always good) and had the surgery. He said it as been wonderful beyond his wildest expectations.
So, I guess what I am getting to, is maybe there is a surgeon out there that could help. Just sayin'. Feeling for you because I have had it but it is not chronic.
Let's make sure you celebrate your birthday every day this year - and I will celebrate it for five years. So lucky to know you pretty one. And you got me addicted to hot chocolate and mini marshmallows.

Physically - Virginia in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. My heart - my place of birth, Tennessee.
Larry is supercalifragilistic. Always caring, talented, supportive of all people and has the cutest little dog ever, Victor.

Folks we have a champion here in the Bar. Our own DenimAngel on "sacre bleu" and Denim_Daisy10 here on Lush. Sara, for those in the know, has just received the Ray of Sunshine badge over on our sister site. She is the fourth, after Fuzzy1954, RuNe, and Etairay. That is wonderful. Congrats to her and the others as well. All her drinks are on me tonight.

Oh how wonderful indeed. Our treasured joyful author and friend to all. "Ray of Sunshine" is such a perfect description too.

So many hugs for you Sara.

This is a very special day. A day to rejoice that you were born, and were gifted with looks, brains, talent and charisma. And somehow you and a very special darling lady met and the stars aligned and you became a true inspiration and legend. I have always devoured your stories from the first I found them and every one you write is a treat for us all. Happy Birthday to you my good friend

Oh I just loved reading about Tonya's menu. Sounds like a good old American feast exactly like my mother used to make. Only thing missing is sauerkraut. And lovely Ms Curvy I am so glad you feel as many of us do about our family here and on our sister group. I am house/dog sitting for friends today but they have left me all the standard delicious food in the fridge. Although I am still searching for pie. Just finished watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and still enjoying the National Kennel Club Dog Show from NYC. Delighted to see a beautiful Brittany win fourth place in the hunting group. We had a lovely Brittany for 16+ years. They can't help pointing at every fly, moth, butterfly they see. Guess she thought one day we might shoot it. And my friend has a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and that breed got 1st place in the terriers.
Everyone please enjoy your day whether you celebrate Thanksgiving or not.

I'm so grateful for what we all have received in our lives. Especially me. I have nothing at all to regret and everything to be happy for. Especially for the wonderful online family that I've found in the past few years. It is truly a magnificent gift sharing lives with folks I've found on this site and 'sacre bleu.' Much love is so often being passed around with group hugs aplenty. And my relationship with Elizabeth is just more than I have ever been worthy of.

Be well, hale, and hearty dear friends.

I feel exactly the same. I feel like these are people that I know personally and so happy they are in my life. I don't say much, but I am aware of much that other's say and that is like listening to friends and neighbors chatting. My happiness at the loves and friendships that have blossomed just since I have been a member is heart warming.

And speaking of heart warming...my Larry is just exactly what I needed and I can't stop smiling because of him.

Oh thanks Sara. Fingers crossed here. Nationals fans are staggering around pinching themselves.

Hugs to you.
If I don't know which of the brands are the house - Pepsi or Coke - I just say cola. Growing up further south you always said Coke.
