Nice to hear the sounds of jazz fill the air (thanks Ping, even if you feel jazz is like a punch in the throat) (the fact you compared bluegrass to sex makes up for a multitude of sins).

Glad to see nearly everyone who is a baseball fan in here (which is not many) saw their team win. Sorry Elizabeth, about the Nats. Sherzer threw a masterpiece last night. One mistake, and sadly it caught up with him.

In other news: Layla got a job here. A good one. Things are aligning, slowly and solidly. We will be celebrating quietly (and not so quietly) tonight.

Baseball season starts in 90 minutes. My Dad has a dental appt. at 12:30, I just called them and told them he's "sick" but should feel better by 3:45 (when the game's over!). Lets' go Mets! Best pitching match-up in baseball today: deGrom vs. Sherzer. I think the Nats (whom we are playing) is the fave team of our recently appointed Awesomeness, Elizabeth Black. Elizabeth, you come in here, I'd love to but you a drink. We'll watch the game togather.

Baseball triva: the Mets have a better record on Opening Days than any other team in baseball: 37-20.
