When I first came across Lush and joined, I only read here and was actually really nervous to submit any writing. I still remember that amazing feeling when submitting my first few poems here and seeing their responses. Since then, I have met some of the most amazing, fascinating, and sweet people here and they all encouraged and helped me in countless ways. There were several times I almost left (but under threat of kidnapping from the lovely Jen 
) but was told to stick around. I'm beyond grateful that I did. My life here and outside of Lush took a very bright turn after that and leaving would've been a huge mistake.
There are too many people to name here, the ones that have helped me and have made me see that this place is a vibrant community of some of the most talented and genuinely fantastic people and I'm beyond proud to be a part of it.
