Jane & Lion Out
Quote by JamesLlewellyn
Good morning, Lion. And good morning, Terrance! You're up and about early! Is there something wrong with the nut warmer?
. Thanks for getting us started this week, Lion. You're always welcome Bear
☘️
Congratulations to the men's – and women's – hockey teams for all-time classic games.
☹️
shall we discuss Olympic Hockey Bear?
Here what Terrance and I have to say, the women's teams both Canada and USA acted as Olympians with pride and grace.
But sadly not in Men's Hockey, Gold went to the USA and one player and coach acted like spoiled toddlers.
Well forward Nathan MacKinnon did recieve a stuffed dog. Here is a breakdown
Based on the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Canada men's hockey forward Nathan MacKinnon caused an uproar and faced criticism for his post-game comments after Team USA defeated Canada 2-1 in overtime to win the gold medal.
Here are the details of the incident:
The Comment: After losing the gold medal game, a "gutted" MacKinnon told reporters, "You be the judge of who was the better team today".
The Uproar: Many fans and commentators labeled the remark as "sore loser" behavior, pointing out that Canada outshot the U.S. 42-28, but failed to capitalize on opportunities, including a significant missed chance by MacKinnon himself in the third period.
Backlash: Social media reactions to the comment included "big crybaby energy" and criticisms that, in hockey, the team that scores more goals is the better team.
Additional context:
Connor McDavid also faced criticism for failing to win the "big game" and skipping the post-game mixed zone, although teammates indicated this was because he was doing the formal press conference instead.
Canadian coach Jon Cooper also faced scrutiny for "blasting" the 3-on-3 overtime format.
☹️
So
Women Hockey members both Canadian and Americans
classic Olympic athletes ❤️
Men Hockey members not so much
Canadian athletes one in particular acted as a
classless spoiled toddler
Just keeping it "real" .

Well if nothing can be said that Rumps is 1000% support the ability to enjoy free speech. It's a 250 year tradition here in the USA

To "dove tail" and yes it's also about the Winter Olympics.....
Alysa Liu Defies CCP Intimidation, Brings Olympic Gold Home for America
Team USA triumphs where freedom beats tyranny.
In a stunning display of skill and courage, 20-year-old Alysa Liu clinched gold in women’s figure skating at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics on February 19—America’s first individual women’s singles gold in the discipline since 2002.
Her flawless free skate to Donna Summer’s “MacArthur Park” delivered a career-best performance, landing every jump and securing the top spot on the podium with 226.79 points. Japanese skaters took silver and bronze, but the spotlight stayed on Liu: the joyful, unapologetic American who chose Team USA over pressure from Beijing.
The backstory hits harder. The Chinese Communist Party was furious when Liu refused to compete for China. They sent operatives to harass and intimidate her and her father—an outspoken anti-CCP activist—right here on American soil. The FBI uncovered the plot, warned the family, and shut it down. Liu spoke out publicly about the threats, stood firm, and skated for freedom.
Contrast that with athletes who bent the knee to the regime for cash and fame. Liu picked principle over payoffs—and still dominated the ice.
This isn’t just a medal. It’s a rebuke to tyrants who try to silence dissent, even abroad. Alysa Liu didn’t just win gold—she proved that loyalty to America and the pursuit of excellence under liberty still crush authoritarian bullying.
Proud to be American and having the freedom of thought & speech. And BEFORE anyone howls she a skater, watch her programs on ice and tell me I'm wrong! her skating IS her way of free speech!!
🇺🇲
And there zero need to wear "asbestos panties" because the ageold rule that Rump himself set long ago, Rumps Bar is a "no panties" zone

As someone whose brother is in a wheelchair, it never ceases to amaze me how inaccessible the world can be for people with mobility issues. Bless you for all you have done to change that in your space. 😘🥰
Tomorrow is the big fundraiser for cancer research that I’ve been working on with a group of amazing colleagues. Looking forward to a successful evening! We have a bigger venue this year and there will be more people.
Kat bless your giving HEART both taking care of your brother but also your upcoming fundraising to combat cancer.

WARHORSES for HEROES
we have a surprise!
Throughout the years, we have made various adjustments to our facilities to make it more handicap accessible, but there was one large milestone we could never quite get past: making the parking lot and entrance to the barn wheelchair friendly.
We are 100% wheelchair accessible.

overview of the win over Canada
Canada lost to the USA in the women's hockey gold medal game at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The final score was 2-1 in overtime, with Megan Keller scoring the winning goal for the US. Here's what happened ¹ ²:
- Canada took an early lead, with Kristin O'Neill scoring a shorthanded goal in the second period. They held onto the lead until the final minutes of the game.
- Hilary Knight, the US captain, tied the game with just over two minutes left in regulation, sending it to overtime. Knight's goal also set the record for most Olympic goals and points in US women's hockey history.
- In overtime, Keller scored the winning goal, securing the gold medal for the US. The US team went undefeated in the tournament, winning all seven games and allowing only two goals throughout.
The game was a closely contested matchup between two rival teams. Canada's captain, Marie-Philip Poulin, praised her teammates' efforts despite the loss, urging them to take pride in their silver medal win. Poulin had missed the final two games of the group stage with a knee injury but returned for the quarterfinals
