I gravitate towards the merlot blend reds the most - a decent French Bordeaux would probably be my favourite.

Otherwise, I don't mind a decent malbec if it's not too fruity. Don't like pinot noir or shiraz particularly. Italian reds tend to be inoffensive and smooth, though not at the top of my list.

As for white wine, I'm less fussy about the grape but like it on the dry side but without too much acidity or zest or floral-ness. Sauvignon Blanc is good but also a chablis or muscadet.

Enjoy rose too but not sparkling wine so much.

As for food, I keep it simple: red with meat and poultry (although I would consider some whites with the poultry), white with fish and salad, cold pilsner with indian food smile

Lol. Guilty as charged.

Swimming of course.

Did I read some of you actually use a pool, when 2/3 of this rock is covered by the Oceans...amazing.

Lake/OWS is great but not if you wish to practise back stroke, turns, dives. I love swimming in the Med - there's nothing like it - but for training, I love a pool because you know exactly how far you've done and at what pace etc. Pool swimming with a squad is more of an adrenaline rush tham OWS, at least for me.
I cycle and swim without music but running I like a few tunes. Usually light-hearted punk/pop like Blink 182, Vaccines, We are Scientists, Lillingtons, Millencolin, Bloc Party

A few dance/rave tracks sometimes but I find I get more of the adrenaline kick from guitar music.
