James, I don't do yoga, though you and Scott saying it helps with back pain makes me curious. I do walk nearly every day, and find not only does it help, it's one of my favorite parts of the day. In fact, it a lovely day today, so after work I will take a long walk as the polls close.

I predict the day, and the days that follow it, will be less fraught than people are fearing. In a week, democracy will be just fine. Regardless of who wins (I winced a little when I added that part, but it's true).

Not much else going on. Work til 5, walk and write afterward, then sit down with a bottle of bourbon and a bowl and watch the messy, exhilarating process of democracy in action.

Good for you, Bill! Hubby and I voted on Wednesday down here in Florida. Had mail-in ballots, but dropped them off just so I wouldn't have to listen to my sister bitch about whether or not my vote would be counted.
