Morning all, happy bday LJ, been enjoying the fabulous stories and hope to get to more today. I’m in for an early and quick cup of tea. I got talked into an early Zumba class this morning at the gym. Gotta work the chocolate off somehow! Wishing I had a link to share for purchasing the Declan 8 or 9 for real. I’d be rich enough to bring the workout to me lol!

Hope the day, afternoon, evening is going well for all...my day started with a lovely veggie omelet made by my hubby who blew off the rest of his out of town meetings this week to come home early last night. Wonders never cease!

Good morning everyone. Thanks for making sure the tea is ready bright and early Curvy. It was a restless night as the DJ in my head was playing Metallica and ACDC. If need be, I can bake another few batches of brownies...

Ping I wasn't suggesting a total catnapping without ransom...just want that orange beauty to have a chance at a home with proper supervision...
My girl made it home as her dad came to the rescue and, having happened to be in the same city for work in which she was stranded, drove her the rest of the way home (2 hours there and 2 hours back) when weather wreaked havoc with the last leg of air travel. He's truly a knight in shining armor.
Now I just need to wake up enough for my date with the treadmill...

Plant lavender, lemon thyme, or coleus in your garden
Spread some citrus peels in the garden
Next time someone in the house gets a haircut, keep some of the hair and spread that around the garden
My daughter had an indoor cat when she was in college and there was a lovely outdoor kitty that was causing the indoor kitty to be unhappy (you're on my turf dude!). So we looked up ways to keep the outdoor kitty from coming around and camping out in front of her doorwall so her cat wouldn't lose her mind.

Thanks for the kind words and hugs. I know it seems silly but I just keep wondering if the mama turtle is wondering why no babies have swam out to sea to find her. Of course my daughter going back home today shortly after the discovery of no turtle babies has clearly made this more emotional for me. I think after lunch I will read the rest of the comp stories that I haven’t read yet. That should provide a nice distraction. It’s afternoon here...not too early for a beer please!
Tonya you deserve a gold medal for driving a bus for of ANY aged children. I used to always get a big thank you from the bus driver when I would take my kids on a field trip. He or she would always be so grateful that I made sure my kids were seated and relatively quiet. It was either that or go crazy. I couldn’t drive a bus for even one day. I bow down to you in awe.
