Hope you get good new neighbours. The house across the street from us changed hands last week and so far, we are good with the new folks. It's a young family and those are in short supply on our street right now. It's mostly empty-nesters and grandparents these days (we are the former).

The house that is for sale seems to be for sale on a fairly regular basis. I think people buy it and eventually realize it's not all that fun living on the main road with only water for a backyard. We had some real issues with Red Tide last year for about 3 months and the owners then were less than amused when dead fish littered their docks. Fortunately that is not a usual occurrence.

No young families around here, or not many...empty nesters and grandparents seems to be the norm here as well.

Lazy....Funny I just heard that song this morning. I also heard All Summer Long by Kid Rock and found myself actually missing those crazy Michigan summers growing up. Too much nostalgia lately...I escaped the brutal winters and that's a good thing, right?
