Its pride month
So I thought this would be a good idea of a thread
The choices in LGBTQIA movies are very limited
Which is your favourite or favourites?
I'll go first with my list
The Killing of sister george
Imagine me & you ( One of the few mushy lovey movies I really enjoy )
Duke of Burgundy
But I'm a cheerleader
The children's Hour ( Its tragic but it was ground breaking )
Room in Rome
But I'm a cheerleader
Almost Adults
Below her mouth (movie was meh but the sex was hot)
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
The Birdcage
Priscilla Queen of the Desert
The Boys in the Band
Chasing Amy
Carol
You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.
I recently saw "The Danish Girl " with Alicia Vikander, Eddie Redmayne and Amber Heard. It was really good.
But my favourite is "Carol".
Blue Is the Warmest Colour - Wonderful French film
The Danish Girl is also good.
Imagine You and Me
If These Walls Could Talk
Score
and while not necessarily about the topic, they had characters that certainly enjoyed both men and women
Gia
Basic Instinct
Blue is the Warmest Color for sure
I agree with Ayla on Below her Mouth
I disagree with Vanessa on Imagine You and Me, I thought it sucked
Cruising an interesting pick, I did like that one. Gritty late 70s NY vibe, great cinematography
Gia is one all of us have seen, a standard in the canon
Hedwig for sure
Carol is a good film but I was underwhelmed having read the book first. Everyone should read the Price of Salt by P. Highsmith
I agree with Audrey as do all right thinking people. "Blue"is very erotic and well done. It even has dialogue I think

Carol.
Cate Blanchett.
swoons
Blue is the Warmest Color, though I prefer the source material, also Mullholland Drive.
I also have a soft spot for the Eurotrash/Sexploitation films of the 70s, but those are more responding to the letter of the question than the spirit.
