I agree with Ayla on Below her Mouth
I disagree with Vanessa on Imagine You and Me, I thought it sucked
Cruising an interesting pick, I did like that one. Gritty late 70s NY vibe, great cinematography
Gia is one all of us have seen, a standard in the canon
Hedwig for sure
Carol is a good film but I was underwhelmed having read the book first. Everyone should read the Price of Salt by P. Highsmith

First of all... I think LGBTQIA is way too long for an initialism.

But if we are talking gay and lesbian stuff then I have recently enjoyed Boy Interrupted and Disobedience. Both came out this last year.

There is also a movie called Tangerine that follows a trans prostitute on the sunset strip that was very well done.

I recently watched an indie movie called Daddy Issues that was also very original... if maybe a bit exploitative.

Blue is the Warmest Color, though I prefer the source material, also Mullholland Drive.

I also have a soft spot for the Eurotrash/Sexploitation films of the 70s, but those are more responding to the letter of the question than the spirit.
