Took this photo back last summer of the Vulcan bomber

And this photo a couple of years back at badminton horse trials 2013

Hubbie participated in joint exercises in the early 80s in Europe that had Vulcans participating also.
He said this might be a picture of one of the last flights of the only Vulcan left flying. It was to be retired at the end of 15. He said he will go see if he can find some of his pictures. He said it was his favorite bomber outside of the USofA.

I got photobombed by a dragonfly this morning in DC!!

Canyonlands is perhaps my favorite place in the world. Had my honeymoon WAY back in the Maze disctrict, where we backpacked in and spent 7 days living in the canyons. I have been camping there at least 20 times (mostly in the Needles district).

Canyonlands, Utah - Not much editing, as it was a beautiful sunset, but the color was enhanced, and in the 2nd pic, the contrast was stretched.

Pretty sure these are the Great Gallery petroglyphs in Horseshoe Canyon - I have a very similar pic framed in my house. Stunning to see in real life. Gave me goosebumps.

Utah Petroglyphs - I think this was shot near Capital Reefs N.P. This was cropped out of a much bigger pic, and contrast was stretched to bring up the petroglyphs, which were hard to see. Color was enhanced, and color temperature was reduced.

Currently holidaying in southern Italy. Just a few snaps along the way. More to come as I go from place to place.

Seeing as though even 800pix wide images are being scaled smaller, I am no longer going to scale as harshly, so click on the images if you'd like to see a bigger version.

Temple of Romulus dating back to the 4th century still has the original bronze door and even the lock still works.

That mountain in the distance is Mt Vesuvius, the volcano that buried Pompeii in 79AD.
Those photos are colossal SydneySider!

Thanks Nic. Glad you liked them.

Very impressive photography.

Do you shoot RAW and do your post-processing in something like Adobe Lightroom?

Yes, all shot in RAW. My camera came with its own RAW processing software where pretty much all I do is set the WB, contrast, colour saturation, crop, and maybe a little with the tone curve, then covert to jpg. Most photos outside I use a filter. Mostly a CP, but when its cloudy, or the sky is too bright, I have 3 gradient filters to help even out the exposure. I love those things. The rest I do in gimp if I need to add further filters but I only do that if its necessary.
