Do you like him in Legends of the Fall? He is very hot in that one too.

I don't know how hot, he is... but it's only natural that you'd describe him in that way, I suppose.

I liked him in the movie SNATCH, too. Could barely understand a word he said, impressive acting job though.

Did you find him smolderingly hot, here, also?

He was hot in snatch too bro... Not sure why I am feeling some pushback from you on this topic.

Just saying, I agree with you, like you say, it doesn't matter what he says, or whether you can understand him, or his acting, he is fun to look at. That's all, I am agreeing with you.

Brad Pitt is a very attractive man. You are right.

What I said was that I thought his acting was entertaining. His various characters he has played throughout his career. If your nipples get hard scoping him out as he chews through his dialogue - that's on you.

I was checking out Margo Robbie in the Tarantino movie.

On a more correct note - Ad Astra was entertaining also.

Fucking guy. Channel this biting humour more often, and one day soon, you too, just might have a friend.

We await WMM's answer.

There wasn't any T&A as I recall, but there are several scenes with both a younger and an older Tommy Lee Jones.

I'd wager that, between TLJ & BP, your libido will be satisfied.

You do seem to be quite fond of those emojis.

I really didn't like Ad Astra. I like Pitt (and yeah, sure, he's pretty hot) but it had like a half hour worth of plot, and the rest of the movie was him floating around in space looking pensive.

LOVED Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. All three of the big guns are great in that. Awesome ending.

The last movie I saw was The Force Awakens, last night, prepping for the new Star Wars movie. Really holds up well. I am sucker for anything JJ Abrams. Here's a view that I bet is in the minority: I think two most recent Star Wars movies are WAY better than the first six. I liked them, and Empire Strikes Back has some game, but the others...they're okay. The last two had much more going for them.

I am. I connect with them better than with most people.
Knives Out.

Fantastic, even though Daniel Craig's odd accent takes some getting used to.

it was weird in the trailers, but by then i think i had gotten used to it and i loved it in the movie. pretty much my third fav movie of the year, after JoJo Rabbit and Frozen 2. smile

We're doing the same. Watched that last weekend. Watching Episode VIII this coming weekend, since my boy hasn't seen it. That's my excuse, anyway.

Me too. He just gets film. Super 8 was fab, and I loved Cloverfield, even though he didn't direct. It has all the tension and drama that Blair Witch should have had, instead of just a bunch of vacuous teenagers running around screaming fuck a lot.

Yeah it was good. Didn't detract from the superb movie. Just strange seeing him open his mouth and something other than British coming out of it. Like the first time I heard David Tennant speak in his real voice after only previously seeing him in Dr Who. I remember saying "Stop putting on that Scottish accent!" at the TV. His Southern British accent is better than mine.

I LOVED Super 8. Seen it 4-5 times now. Cloverfield deserves a little more love than it got too.

BTW, just saw Last Jedi again. Good flick. Psyched to see the last movie of the saga.

Painful. Gut-wrenchingly, painful.

I didn't think this was a great movie, but the acting was spectacular. Adam Driver should win all the lead actor awards. He's that good in this. I still don't like him as Kylo Ren, but in BlackkKlansman and Logan Lucky, he is fantastic. I'd love to see Scarlett Johansson win with lead with this, and supporting lead for Jojo Rabbit, but I fear she'll not win either. Have been a fan ever since Lost in Translation. Laura Dern, Alan Alda, and Ray Liotta were equally spectacular. Now I know why Ray wasn't in, The Irishman. He was kicking ass in this one.

Horrible. The constant narration of the guy's thoughts... egad.

Still need to see Frozen 2 with the kids and Knives Out. Currently chipping away at an old Hitchcock, Shadow of a Doubt. Still undecided.
Just saw Frozen 2 with the kids. Way too ethnic.

Actually, all three of us enjoyed it more than the first, and we enjoyed the songs more too.

But the best part was listening to all the younger kids talking to their parents and at the movie screen. It was adorable and priceless.

“Hey Olaf! I have one of you at home!”

“Mom! Mom! Look, it’s Elsa!” As if mom wasn’t watching and was doing a line off of the arm rest.

“Olaf’s silly, mom,” one little boy yelled, “Turtles don’t breathe out their butts.”

Frozen 3 is inevitable.
Knives Out. A fun whodunit.
Knives Out. Very clever whodunnit. Awful accent, Mr Bond.
Highly underrated movie if you ask me. I'm not much of a fan of anyone in it, but still a rather great movie I'd give a perfect 10 to though.
saw on the same weekend: Parasite and The Irishman. Parasite was awesome; The Irishman was quite compelling, I thought, at least for the first three hours. Great acting in both.
El Camino. I had to see what happens to Jesse Pinkman.
Saw Ford vs Ferrari . Really didn’t want to but I agreed and was glad. It is a good story and the acting was good in my opinion.

This was a challenging watch because of the time period and awkward acting. However, I did find I continued to ask myself why certain things were happening and what was next. I wondered why the movie continued on for another twenty or thirty minutes, and then when it ended, was still thinking the same answer. Fortunately, Hitchcock bettered his craft over the next three decades.

Well, Knives Out. A movie I wanted to see ever since the first trailer. Although it dragged in many parts, it was entertaining. But...

It was too long, too contrived, and too convoluted. Too gimmicky too. Maybe because I've read and written so many twisty plotty things, but this one was tied up into too nice of a bow as well. Even tried a little pathos at the end. Gong. And expect a sequel. You don't end a movie with my newest crush the way the producers did. Ana, for me, was the movie's saving grace. Absolutely gorgeous. I can't believe I'm saying this, but The Irishman and Marriage Story are better movies. Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood is still my favourite movie of 2019. But I've still not seen Parasite. That's next. Knives Out might be my least favorite movie of Daniel Craig's that I've seen. Sigh.

I also didn't know this... and I should have because I was a big fan... but 23-year-old Don Johnston was fucking Melanie Griffith when she was 14. They moved in together when she was 15. Got engaged at 18. Where the fuck were her parents? Remember the actress in, The Birds, Tippi Hedren. That's Melanie's mom. Fuck sakes. Where were the fucking cops? This is not the first time Don has been doing the creepy age-gap thing either. No longer a fan. Really disappointed I didn't know this. Now you do too. You can research it yourself, if you want to. It's all there.

But back to Ana... she's 31. A nice age.

Knives Out...and it was everything I hoped it would be.

Knowingly taking the piss out of itself and the genre, clever, lots of in jokes and references, amusing performances. Loved it!

"Knives Out" and it was awesome! It had humor along with a lot of clever twists and turns and I truly enjoyed it. I love it when I can't always figure out what's going to happen next.
