It's one that is perpetually on my to-watch list because ... well ... I don't have time for binge watching right now. Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead are also on that list of shame.
Love this show too! And honestly it's really the first series I've watched outside of the mainstream (well it kinda is mainstream cause so many people love it lol but I mean mainstream as in "on cable tv" and this show definitely wouldn't pass in my opinion to be on cable tv).
I'd say my fav thing about the show is realizing the in-depth back stories to the characters. Yeah, they're criminals, they've done wrong, etc. But they're people with lives and other loved ones in their lives. (side note: and obviously some of the "crimes" like petty drug crimes don't fit the punishment of some of them & the fact that non-whites are punished more, and unfair treatment by the law, etc). It shows the humanity of the other side of the jail cell. And shows that unfortunately one wrong turn in life can send your ass to jail like that. Also, the struggle between drug addiction and the law.
And love that it's not censored.

I just saw all four seasons last month and really liked it a lot. Not sure if they'll be able to keep it up for three more seasons though. I hope so, but I'm a bit sceptical.

Jumping on the band wagon. I haven't heard one person say a bad thing about it.

Art can never exist without naked beauty displayed. Outstanding show. I have a certain fondness for lesbian movies, TV shows and stories. Another to watch is The L Word. Nobody has as much sex as those folks, though.
