Are you guilty of typecasting actors/actresses? I always refer to Jason Alexander as George Costanza

Not as much as one time, but certain ones do pop out to me. Example, Tom Welling will always be Clark Kent to me. Also James Spader as Raymond Reddington(even though Spader's career spans far before taking on that role).

Sean Connery and Roger Moore never did shake the "James Bond" name, even though Moore had some good roles prior and Connery after. Some of the later Bonds fared better. Dalton didn't play Bond long enough to really get associated with the name and, to me at least, Brosnan is Remington Steele first and foremost (loved that show and it sold me on him as 007).

Hollywood casting does it, of course I do.

Yes.

I am not particularly fond of "comedy/ sarcastic" actors.

Like that guy who portrayed that stupid funny super hero that everyone lost their mind over.

But then again, I couldn't careless about comic book films;waste of time.

At first glance, it seems to happen more with television rather than movies. Bryan Cranston will always be associated with Walter White, and Jon Hamm with Don Draper. I suppose Anthony Perkins was typecast after Psycho , although he agreed to two sequels. Henry Fonda played against type by being a villain in Once Upon a Time in the West, and it was great to see his dark side.
