What do you think is the most underrated movie of all time?
I think Alexander by Oliver Stone was extremely underrated with critics acting like it was the worst movie of the year. Lots of the criticism doesn't even make sense, like the complaints about the accents... Like what does a Macedonian accent sound like? They'd have to just make one up and that would have been ridiculous.
Thank you for making this thread.....!

It's one that I've actually been waiting to make for a while so I'm glad someone made it.

In Bruges is written and directed by Martin McDonagh (who wrote and directed Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri.)

It has some of the best written dialogue of any movie that I've seen. Colin Farrell is awesome in it. And Brendan Gleeson is one of the most underrated actors in the game.

I guess it would be categorized as a "dark comedy."

It's very very good.

84% on Rotten tomatoes. And 79% on IMDB.

In fact I think I'll watch it again tonight as I go to bed.

I’ve heard good things about this movie. I will add it to my too watch list.
“Life” is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. It had the double wammy of being labeled a “black” movie and a “comedy” and thus didn’t get the acclaim it deserved. American Beauty won best picture that’s year but I defy anyone to watch American Beauty again and tell me if it holds up. I don’t think it does. The characters are all cliche, and thst scene where the kid talks about filming the plastic bag isn’t unwatchable. If you want a good laugh and a good cry, watch “Life.”
