The question presumes that the woman in question identifies as straight prior to making the request but you're right, once the request is made, that suggests she is at least "curious". If she goes through with it and enjoys it, then maybe bisexual. However, I think the question is phrased correctly since the woman is presumably known to be openly straight to the lesbian receiving the request.

why does there have to be a label....what difference does it make whether she becomes bi-curious once she has made the request....a woman who had never been intimate with another woman, asked to have some intimate contact.......worry less about what to call her or the act and more about the actual situation

I think that the OP is actually a 68 year old man pretending to be a lesbian. All kidding aside, Becky brings up an excellent point. We, as a society have a deep seated need to put people in pigeon holes, which enables us to lean on the crutch of stereotypes. Is she not the same woman she was before? The simple fact of experiencing a particular sex act for the first time should have no real impact on her humanity. She is just broadening her horizons. I don't feel the need to judge or label her.

Ignoring the distractions of defining 'striaght' or 'bisexual', if a woman approached me who had never been with another woman and asked me if I would have sex with them, she would have to meet the same criteria I use for any other lover- Am I attracted to her? Is she single, or does she have permission from her significant other to explore this desire? is she sober enough to be making a free and knowing decision about having sex with me? Is she someone my wife will agree to allow me to have sex with? If the answer to all of these questions is yes, then I will certainly be happy to provide her with her first same sex experience.
