What story plot would you like Lush authors to write about that has not been published here? Take note, of course, only within site rules.

Note: I am only a reader and not planning on writing one.

I love a sexy mystery. Not too many mysteries written here.

( But only if it's meant to be one, not just so chaotic you've no idea what's going on...)😇

I agree. I had a binge-read during the Whodunnit, Noir and Obsession competitions. The Anti-Valentine, even. Something that doesn't only send blood to the nether region but more so, it pumps the heart fast and strong enough that you can hear it while you read. Something that will fire up your mind to an anticipatory thrill with what you think will happen next as you enjoy the twists and turns.

Just about every plot line you can think of has been published here at one time or another but some genres are much better represented these days than others.

We are as much prone to fads and fashions here as is any other creative or social space. Mystery, satire, comedy and that great old invalid genre, Historical, don't seem to be as popular with Lush authors any more. I've never seen a story written in play format (dialogue and scenes with stage directions) on Lush although I tried to produce something like it in the 'Dirty Talk' competition.

Finally, if you find yourself at loose ends, you might might like some of my efforts in the above genres. All of these were competition entries : Embrace The Distant Stars (sci-fi mystery), I Fuck for Satan (satire), Midnight Satin (historical comedy).

Yeah, interestingly the classic fiction genres tend to be underrepresented here other than romance. I delve into fantasy and paranormal sometimes myself but I know they aren't really popular. I don't read enough here anymore to know if the current popularity of romantasy (romantic fantasy) and paranormal/urban fantasy romances have shown up on here.

I have noticed that, too. Perhaps the next competition can be for the top 10 least published/read categories. Thank you for the story recommendations. I've read the two and just read the satire.

No, as Kistin says, it's not a format we support here, but you can get creative, like my recent attempt at "Manga comic prose" in Takemi.

As for suggestions, most storylines have been written. But even the most tried and tested storyline can be given a fresh lick of paint and feel new.

'Get creative,' now why didn't I think of that? Lol. 'Nekomusume' my recent anime/manga style story has me all manga-ed out. Btw I've read Takemi.
