I'm working on a group sex piece, first person narrator with a twist, the narrator changes every time an orgasm occurs. With that in mind, which makes more sense,
1. transition from who just had the orgasm to the person who caused it
or
2. person who caused it to person who had the orgasm

I keep going back and forth and decided to throw the question to the ether hoping for resolution.

It sounds like a story that will be very confusing if you don't pull it off right. Interested to see what happens.

I'd go with 1. As the first person climaxes, shift to the second and then to their climax, and on from orgasm to orgasm.

That said, I am not sure what the benefit of doing it in first person would be. You can do shifting viewpoints quite easily in third person without risking confusion.
