The list can go on and on, really. They all have something that I truly enjoyed reading or could relate to in a significant way. There are also many authors who have been mentioned that I haven't read yet as well. Time to give them a look, no doubt.

Thank you so much for thinking of me, I'm completely honoured ?

I just read PhilU's comp piece and was very impressed. hopefully the rest of his stories are as good, cause really, made me want to read more. smile

What the? Probably the other (two, so far) stories are not as good, but then I didn't think the comp piece was all that good either, so what would I know?

Bit embarrassed to have my name mentioned amongst the others on this thread...but trying to get better at receiving compliments, so...

Thanks so much for the kind words, sprite (and browncoffee too)!

Now, to settle in and watch where the "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" ends up

Psst! (taps Phil on the shoulder from behind). Dude, I've been in here all night -- no action yet. Glad to have the company though. Want some? I got too much. (tilts bag of popcorn toward Phil)

I have to say that there is not an author here I do not like. I absolutely adore a variety of different types of stories so nothing is really off limits to me. As for favorites I hate to single people out but these are people that when the message comes through I read asap.

this list can go on and on. I'm sure there are some I forgot. I really like everything I've read here. Everyone has their own style and way they write. It always makes for an interesting dayof reading when time allows. There are authors that have left that I still miss JC was always good to see and a few others gone now. I'm always looking for ways to improve my own writing with each story i submit. It's a scary feeling and I'm always thankful to the people who help me push that button every time. Their encouragement keeps me writing and maybe some day I will be half as good as those I look up to. Thank you to everyone of the authors here for what you do. Without each of you we would not have these wonderful stories to read.

Just saw this list Tonya and I am honored and greatly humbled to be on it. Thank you for being such a devoted fan of my writing. smile

There are a few but most aren't that active here anymore, nonetheless at this point I'll say...check out my profile...he's the only one I'm "following"

Would it make a difference if I said them titties were like sugar plum fairies of spellbinding witchery?
Psst, Phil! (crunch crunch ) This is starting to spiral on us. I'm going to toss out a copy of ABG's Out of Control and see if things start back in the right direction. (crunch crunch )

Hey, I like the bedroom. Any time you want me there...oh, and I wouldn't even mind you calling me "awesome" there

I'm torn as to whether to point people towards the thread announcing the current competition, or just allow them to get entirely the wrong idea...

I can see that people tend to read current authors more than longer standing ones. I have given my short lists before so this will be brief:
Lisa
Liz
Principessa
avgblackgrl
DanielleX is someone I have read over and over, especially her "Renaissance of the Heart" series. She is just an instant turn on for me if you just mention her name by now.
Then there is Sprite's, "Do You Want Ketchup With That?"
Then there are the poets I adore: LaylaJune is just extraordinary. We all know her as a very classy lady, but that class somehow rubs off on her gift---her poetic muse.
I tend not to read men but there are some damned good writers here who are male.

I have been away so forgive me for not thanking you sooner. I appreciate being listed with some very talented people. Thank you so much.
I don't remember if i've mentioned Verbal or not. if not, i should. his Shard series is not only a genre changer and excellently written, but it's also an inspiration for my recent Psychedelic Pussycat series. A must read, imo.

It's amazing how much good writing there is here, and how easy it is to miss so much of it just through lack of time, or because you gravitate around the writers that you've come to know and whose quality you trust.

Anyway, I just "discovered" Stormdog, and I'm loving his Glamour Shots series. I'm only on chapter 10 of more than 35, but it's a great ride so far.

I know I'm late to the party, and plenty of others discovered him way before I did, but I thought I'd give the series I'm enjoying so much a shout out.

I'm also really digging pretty much anything browncoffee writes, and now we're working on a collaboration, which I'm really excited about.

Thank you, dear. I am honored to have inspired you (insert blush emoji here). Your Psychedelic Pussycat series is a wonder (I was braggging it up over at Rumplations a few days back).

You are very welcomed J.

While I am at it, I really should add Jayne33 and Burquette to my list of solid writers I would highly recommend too.

As I've said I knew I would forget some people and the list would grow and grow. AvgBlkGrl is a wonderful poet with a voice like silk. Such an inspiration.
Milik_the_Red is another I'm loving.
Patokl always speaks from his heart in all of his poetry (we need some more dear friend)
the list will grow and grow I know. I'm always looking to my frirnds for new and wonderful stories to read.
