I actually count mine, as it's achievable. I don't do it with the intention of preparing for a hissy-fit, but purely to see how much my number differs from the god that is tech. Perhaps possible ambiguity over whether a bean's counted as one or two is a part of the challenge, as opposed to being angry over something I will always consider a bit of fun?

Yep, I do similar. I wrote one recently: 100 words on Word, 100 words on my fingers, and 105 words when I put it in my story draft folder. Where did those 5 words come from on the LS word count? 🙄

It's like magic, as there are still only 100 words there.

Nipple

It’s Alban Hefin, the summer solstice. Áine welcomes her sacrifice with bare skin and wet fingers, burning with anticipation and hunger.

Dry branches embrace him.

“You fear me yet want me just as much. They react to your desire. You grow hornier, they get tighter.”

Writhing, he nods as she gets only a breath apart.

“There’s freedom in restraint.”

“I won’t relinquish my soul.”

“Keep it. I have no use for it. Your body, though…”

"Shhh Man"

Honey, a secret's a heavy burden, but you must keep ours. The boss man would have my hide if he discovered how much I love burying my face between his wife's thighs.

And when I see you with him in town, I'll merely smile, free from the shame of our deceitfulness. The knowledge that you're saving the best part of yourself for me alone makes the weight of sin light on my shoulders.

"Shhh Man"

Without a word, he put a finger to his lips to remind me to stay quiet. I obeyed, like a good girl. I trusted him to free me of my inhibitions.

He resumed spanking my already crimson bottom. The exquisite sting of each stroke brought me closer to the edge until my entire body shook from much-needed release.

“Thank you, Sir,” I whispered.

He nodded; then we rejoined the party, no one the wiser.

”Red Curtain Man”

Waiting in my cell with other gladiators.   Waiting to be called to fight for the amusement of Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, imperator malae famae.  Knowing I would never see freedom again.

The red curtain is pulled away, revealing the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.

Gaius Agrippa Iulus, I am yours.  Since you’ll be dying as a man, Nero wants you to enjoy your last hours in the pleasures of being a man.

"Flower Girl"

After years of being confined as his ‘house whore,’ I’ve escaped. 

Looking back to see if I’m being followed, I shout “Freedom!”

The feel of the grass under my feet, the intoxicating smell of the flowers of the field, and sunlight falling on my shoulders for the first time in years.

I shout louder, “Free!  Free at last.”

Suddenly, strong, powerful arms restrain my flight.

“Freedom is elusive, woman.  No one is ever truly free.”
