I'm still tinkering with something that has helped me deal with a bad situation in my own life. Writing isn't just about entertaining others. Sometimes it's about moving through something yourself.

Tinkering with a new story idea that is adjacent or parallel to my Angel of Love trilogy. Basically take a supporting character (Lisa's father) and tell a story about them that may also ultimately tie in to the core story. Shall see if it goes anywhere.

In addition to the Pussycat Park series that I’m a few chapters away from finishing, been tinkering with an idea I’ve had.

Ever see Spirited Away? A bathhouse for spirits… My version I’m playing with is a Red Light Bathhouse. Able to make lots of interesting spirits and monsters for my main character to play with. Seems like a fun project that I can occasionally dip into and do some weird things with. And I’ve been wanting to do a tentacle story forever…

You should check out my favourite manga and anime 'Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits.' It's a romance with lots of yokai at a bathhouse/inn. I'm incredibly partial to the Ogre (black haired, red-eyed characters 😈)

I've had an otome like story rattling in my brain for some years but I'm ploughing away at my series like usual. It's morbid but I don't trust my health and I won't die peacefully until it's done. I'll be staying to get it finished as a ghost if I have to.

I've submitted a fun little story that will end up being two or three parts. The Cocktail Party features a sexy redhead (shocker) and a man who can't resist her. I hope it will be published soon. 😉

I've submitted Part 3 of The Cocktail Party, and I am simultaneously working on Part 4 of that AND working on the next part of Boardrooms & Boudoirs (Grace has been talking very loudly in my head again - YAY).

I've started tinkering with an idea that has been on my story beach for a while; the life story of a coin, and all the sexual scenes it witnesses as it is passed from person to person. I'm hoping it'll jump start my erotic writing, which has been dead on the table for a while recently.

A whole lotta nuttin’

With Part 4 of The Cocktail Party submitted, I've been working on finishing up Boardrooms & Boudoirs Part 7. I have a stand-alone story in the works. It's been a while since I've written a one-part story. I keep trying, but they keep wanting more parts. My characters are very bossy sometimes.

I had a new idea. Not sure how it will go, but I am giving it a whirl. Could end up in an MMF threesome or similar. Still working things out.

Well, it was my intention to finish either The Cocktail Party - Part Five or Boardrooms & Boudoirs - Part Seven. But a trip to the ENT for another sinus procedure shot most of my day. However, while I was searching my flash drive, I found this fun piece of writing that I edited into sort of a story called, Dear Mistress Kat.

Entering the last few chapters to finish out Pussycat Park. Been having an absolute blast with this one, an the latest chapter (Dark Thoughts) has some payoffs I've been seeding across the series which excites me. I'm stoked about writing the next chapter which builds on one of my favorite characters asserting her dominance on the story.

After that I'm really looking forward to picking back up some of the stories I've dropped the first chapter on. I had originally planned on diving into Jewel, but I think first I've got a passion burning and ideas swirling for the Free Use series I started. First one came out better than I hoped and I can't wait to build on it.

I'm bashing away on a long-term collab.

I wrote a story for the Punked competition a couple of years ago, and scrapped it days before the closing date. Sat the comp out because the story had transmogrified into a complex, boring mess of wiffle that had no real heart.

Codenamed CTRL-Z, it lay dormant for ages until I reread it one day. It was still shit. But there was an interesting idea about regret lurking deep inside it. About how choices affect those around us, and how people make decisions for what they think are the right reasons but turn out they're not. And yes, it had some hot lesbian sex scenes.

It was set in Australia and I'd sprinkled loads of Aussie slang in and a few half-decent lines, but it needed local knowledge to bring all the elements together and give it a sense of time and space. So I contacted CuriousAnnie and begged to see if she would be willing to rip it apart and make it good.

Gracefully, she did. And has.

It bears little resemblance to the original draft, and is shaping up wonderfully.

Our busy schedules have meant it's sat around idling for months between editing sessions, but I feel it's nearing something great. Well, when we fix the ending, settle on a title and add a decent cover image.

The original pic of a hot girl on a cool motorbike (which Sprite reliably tells me looks like a Street Triple), that inspired the idea of someone in a Mad Max kind of world at a crossroads, deciding whether to undo their mistakes—try again or carry on running—is shown here.

Really looking forward to publishing this.

Trying to focus on Boardrooms & Boudoirs now. But I also have a few short stories in various stages of completion on my flash drive that I should really revisit.

Question: How have you found writing from a female POV? I guess it's presumptuous, but i assume from the cover art and the description (hot lesbian sex scenes) that your protagonist is female?

I have been tinkering with an idea about a country girl who is ripped away from her quiet rolling fields of corn to the hustle and bustle of the big city when she falls for a charming city boy in town for business.

It needs to be written from her perspective but it's something i have not yet tried. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated!

It took a little practice but the main difference I find is to focus more on senses other than the visual.

As far as other tips go, read read read other works from that POV. I'm far from the best at it, but here are a few that you might be able to glean something from. Take your pick:

That should give you some ideas. But I strongly urge you to seek out authors who can do it way better than me, and study how they construct the stories.

Next week I’m taking my first week off of not having a self induced chapter every week deadline. Equinox shit, going to be busy.

Trying to whip my new story into shape after finally deciding on where it should end. Life keeps getting in the way though.
