Who has done this, worked with another writer to put a story together?
Did you plan it all out beforehand, and decide which sections each one would take? Or did it all just happen as you went along, one scene leading into the next one, characters appearing that you didn't know were going to show up? Did it have a plot, beginning, middle and end?
Did you proof read one another's sections before posting? Or tweak them, filling in details or changing things?
Were you able to write any of your own work at the same time, or did you just concentrate on the collaboration?
Did it ever drive you crazy, either the process itself or your writing partner?
Ive never done it, but dosnt seem like a bad idea!
Gypsy I love your tub...
I like the idea of working with someone... especially on a erotic story for the thrill...
but I'm not sure I could endure it. Im too slow and my mind gets distracted too easily when I have to wait.
I have only ever wrote one really good story with a male friend of mine, It was kinda like pen-pals, he'd have an idea then I'd write till I couldn't think of anymore, then we used to do this till we got to the end of the story. I liked it a lot.
P.S It got kinda hot when I spurred him on to write the next part a bit more hotter.
I tried to co-write with someone before. She inspired the idea, and I wrote the story. I left a few areas for her to fill in the details because she had better knowledge of those areas. Unfortunately, real life got in the way, and I eventually finished the story by myself. I haven't really tried it since. But then, I haven't tried writing stories at all for a while. I've just been focusing on songs when I have the rare burst of creativity.
You need a private, special place to collect your thoughts.
I actually haven't written anything formal, but I role-play sometimes and they can turn into some pretty hot scenarios...

Sounds good Jebru - reminds me a little of Bob Dylan. How would you describe your music, Country?
Yeah. I'd call it country, or possibly folk.
I did try once but the problem (that I could see happening before starting) was in who would physically write the piece. Two Authors = two different styles of writing; in effect, only one can write the piece. That leaves both to consider who writes the complete final draft because only one of the two can. Unless I am missing something?
In any case, it didn't work and I gave my portions over to the guy I co-authored with and we parted company; oh, a friendly parting of the way I might add ... it simply wouldn't work for either of us.

I have co-written a story & and it was a very enjoyable experience. Looking forward to see what we can come up with next.
