I don't think I could work well with another writer. I'm to much the control freak and far to vain about my writing to share the creativity with another. No doubt I would freak over the phrasing of the most piece of dialog. I would go nuts if we didn't agree one plot direction

Since I actively took up writing, I have written two stories with another (the same) author, and one story where there were eight of us in total writing it.
The co-author and I work really well together, bouncing ideas and just letting the story go where it wants to go. Along with constant laughter.
The story with eight authors was actually really easy. We spend a lot of time together anyways, so it was just getting everyone on the phone at the same time (that was the hardest part!) and a clear cut view of where the story was going, and how we wanted to get there. The rest was just gravy! As I said, the hardest part of it all, was getting everyone's work back, or getting everyone in the same place at the same time, when we were facing time zones!! (*raises fist and curses the time zone gods)

I can't imagine working in a group of eight people! I'm impressed, but it sounds as though it was fun. LOL about the time zones, that problem I know about.
