I do but only if it falls into lingerie "I would purchase and wear myself."

If its something that the guy likes and I don't, then he should wear it.

I spent 300 on lingerie and 500 on non lingerie this Christmas.

Don't make it the only gift if it's for an occasion like Christmas/birthday/valentines/anniversary etc. Just sayin.

Out of the blue on a random Tuesday? That's ok.

You just have to keep in mind what the spirit of a gift is on actual gift giving occasions.

In my experience anyway.

Getting lingerie as a gift is very nice, I love it when he buys nice stuff. I also think it is sexy and flattering when he buys sexy underwear for me to wear and take off. It shows he still desires me. Even underwear I cant wear anywhere but in our home.

I absolutely love lingerie as a gift. Particularly when it's something we have discussed or something that I know my partner would love to see me in. It is also important though for my dislikes to be listened too. For example I hate things and don't feel like there is anything sexy about them. So I would hate it if someone bought me a thong.
