While I'm sure somebody feels that way, I tend to believe it's the exception rather than the rule.
There is a particular married man I want to fuck. But I won't. It's the fact I can't have him that makes me want him and I'm sure it's better in my fantasies about him than it would be in person anyway lol. On the whole, being married does not make a man more desirable, just this one

If a guy is married, he's off limits to me, unless his wife knew and approved. That only happened when we were swinging a few years ago. Sometimes we would swap partners with married couples.
Supposing I were single, a married man is not something I would look for. If I did happen to get into a mutual attraction with a married man I would consider pursuing a relationship with him so long as he was in the process or beginning the process of separation or divorce. If said married guy wasn't planning on any separation and just wanted a side thing - the answer is absolutely not.
