Color me old fashioned but I was wondering about the gals at Lush.....if you have tattoos or piercings, other than your ear, what was your motivation and are you still happy that you did it? I am just trying to get my arms wrapped around the idea and trying to understand the why.

I have piercings and tattoos. I only regret one tattoo, and I got that on a girls weekend in Blackpool with hardly a moment of sobriety between us. I hate the bloody thing. I was 18 and pissed though. Then pissed off the next morning when I saw it because I don't like it. I keep meaning to get it covered.
I think tats and piercings are a bit like marmite. You either like them, or you don't. I think my piercings are pretty and I think all but one of my tats are awesome, they also have meaning to me.
So, with the exception of one, which I plan to get covered. I am very happy with mine.

I hate marmite, and vegemite if any Antipodeans are wondering, but I don't mind the taste of piercings and tattoos. Just not on me. My only piercings, my earlobes, have long since grown over.
