can women actually run/exercise while wearing a pad.......like in the kotex commercials?

it's like a bandaid on your vagina..........seems weird that kotex and playtex would have commercials with women running and stuff while on there periods?

I know am I guy so I don't have any leg to stand on knowing what it's like to have a "period"

Thoughts?
I think that girls who do .. or even exercise .. r very brave..

Yes.

Although most women who exercise while they're on their period will probably use a tampon, some do choose to wear pads instead.

yes, it can be done. i did in high school, and i'll admit that i was DEATHLY afraid of it falling out in gym. pads have come a LONG way since then! like others have stated, i prefer tampons.

Say. Her. Name.

Thanks for the help to understand what the commercials are trying to say with their "sport" product line!!!

So it seems to me(someone who lacks a vagina) a guy.....that Playtex with their "sport" product line they're trying to make a Sport Pad still a thing even though most women prefer to use a tampon while exercising or doing anything sports related. Like the DVD companies still making DVDs.

I know that the commercials for period "sport" products aren't misleading by showing active women while on their period is still kinda funny to me lol.....because women wanting to go run or whatever while on their period is weird a bit lol(no offense)

As HeraTeleia said, some women prefer not to use tampons for whatever reason. There's definitely a market for Sports Pads.

I'm not sure why a woman being active on her period is weird. Life doesn't stop just because someone is on their period.

Not to mention, being active can actually help to alleviate some of the discomfort that occurs with your period (depending on the severity of said discomfort, of course).

Of course it varies from woman to woman, but there's certainly nothing 'weird' about a woman wanting to run or engage in any other sort of exercise while she's on her period.

do you nasty bitches go swimming with pads too or what
When I was A KID I dated a CATHOLIC girl who referred to Sanitary Pads as 'BUNNIES'...

WHY?

(Because they made a little BUMP under her ass that she and her friends described like a rabbit's tail!!!) This WAS in the 80's when Sanitary Towels were the size of small private AEROPLANES!

ACTUALLY, in IRELAND in the 70s and 80s TAMPONS were DISCOURAGED because the powers that pertained DID NOT APPROVE of WOMEN putting THINGS into themselves... (That's ACTUALLY true!!!)

NOWADAYS when high-school girls talk RABBIT it's a WHOLE other THANG!

CONDOMS were illegal in IRELAND until the 80s!

lol ok maybe "weird" wasn't the right word.....That's just me being a guy lol
but thank's for the clarification!!!
Running won't work for the first 5 days of my period. I usually suffer painful cramps and bruises so I don't really abuse myself that much when I'm in pain.
I could show you INCREDIBLE things...

That is very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I am sure that these "rules" made many to figure out how to solve in creative ways. And glad that now world is different. Can you imagine if that happens today? I can't
When I was a LITTLE BOY, my mother used to send me to The Chemist/Drugstore with a handwritten NOTE...

"Just give that to the woman!"

And I'd bring home the brown paper bag...

Occasionally, I'd SEE the bloodied pads in bathroom bins or whatever. It TERRIFIED me! (I thought my mom must be dying...) It was NEVER something you could ask about. (You just KNEW you could not.)

Different time.
