Do you prefer reading stories written by women to get a better understanding of fantasies, expectations and desires from our perspectives, or as long as it's a good story do you not care if it was written by a man or woman?
Prefer a good story, but tend to find the ones written by women to generally be more erotic than those by men. But, then again, might depend on my mood....
If the author knows what they are doing, it can be either or. I have read great female perspective, and i have read great male perspectives. I tend to like the more erotic, where the imagination is in play, and the interaction is more real. If it seems real in my imagination, and not forced, either or will do.
depends more on the author then their gender. Jaymal and Lady X are both great writers.

The Wild Girl anthology need not be read in any order but does take place in the following timeframe

Wild at Heart- 1968. The story of Dani’s Great Aunt Evie.

I'm not sure the sex of the author is as important as his/her's topic, writing ability, imagination, and content. However, there are times when I prefer the perspective of a man, as I can out myself in his shoes (although hopefully his shoes and all other clothing is long gone). And other times, when I want a completely different viewpoint.
The abilities of the author are more important than the gender. However, I do enjoy reading about the different sensations women feel during sex.
