If you truly do love her, regardless of how you wish she would feel the same and leave him for you, can you not respect her decision and allow her to carry on with the choice she has made? Don't you think it's selfish of you? Maybe she is genuinely happy with her choice. There is somebody I desperately wanted to be with, but his ex came back into the picture, and whilst I feel like crap about it for myself, he wanted her, and I am happier that he is happy, and I don't bug him. I respond to his texts, but I stay away for fear that I would both embarass myself and put him in an awkward situiation. He's happy with his choice, and even in the times when he is not, he chose her.

Do you not have enough respect for her feelings and choices that you would continue to "fight for her until the day she dies"?

I would suggest you try to think about what she needs from her point of view, not your own, or what you think her point of view ought to be.

Nobody says you can't feel like poo about it, and I think trying to force yourself to move on is sometimes expecting too much of yourself if you do truly care about her.

Take up fishing or something, and distract yourself, and in time, you will find it gets easier. Time can do that.

Why not go out on the pull and find a new love? Or, y'know... just shag 'em and score 'em (points from 1-10 for things like boobs, wetness, moaning, tightness, whatever you want). At the end of the year, you could tick off how many diseases you need treating for. That would keep you occupied.
