I live in the deep south. We get winter weather for about 3 weeks a year. It's stifling hot most of the year. High heat and high humidity. But, my balls never really itch. Not anymore than my elbow or nose or anything else. We "scratch" our ball because it feels good. But I never scratch in public. Or at least very rarely.
