Why do some of the guys feel the need to take things off of Lush? I find it a conversation killer when I'm asked if I have a or Aim or the other various communication platforms as soon as I open up a chat box. I mean if we met on Lush, can't we stay on Lush?
Because they probably want to verify you are really a girl or the girl you claim to be. would be good for such verification. It also may make someone feel more "special" or something if you trust them with personal information.

On a bodybuilding forum I once participated in, the 'trick' to prove your identity was to take a picture of yourself holding a spoon. It was actually quite effective. Once a guy posted a picture of an incredibly hot girl lying on a bed, and asked if we found his girlfriend attractive. Everybody went "Yeah right, spoon pic please!". 10 minutes later, he provided a picture of the same girl while holding a spoon, and everybody completely went "Oh my goddamn fucking god!".

We should have something similar here on Lush. Maybe a 'dildo pic' or something.

But as Felix said, some guys are looking for a bit more than just trying to prove a girl's identity.
Now that I understand, totally. But I mean right off the bat? I mean I just want to enjoy Lush and some company, not really get intimate. Is that a bad thing

Yes... Get on cam and spread your cheeks, princess.

With a spoon, preferably.

It's not a bad thing and most here I think would agree.

Personally, I am firmly committed to keeping my Lush life and my Real Life separate - part of my personal standards.

I'm just looking for chat, readers of my works and maybe some OL friends - nothing else.
