Some of us post pictures on the walls of our friends here on Lush. Some post funny, erotic or porn. It's always puzzled me why a lot of guy friends post a picture of a naked woman on my wall. I'm a straight girl and my profile clearly says that. I don't really want pictures of naked women on my wall. A funny joke pic, an erotic picture of a woman or couple would be nicer, even a picture of a naked guy would be better.
In my opinion, it would be no different to me posting a picture of a naked man on a guy's profile page.

Most women can appreciate the beauty of the female form, as I'm sure you do. We don't do it as an attempt to turn you on. A naked woman is sexy regardless of your sexual preference, and most don't mind it. I always find something that I'm sure they will like, and it's not about the sexual aspect. Maybe they like a certain style of photo, so I always try and find something they will like. As for guy pics, searching tumblr for a guy pic isn't my thing. If someone doesn't want women posted on their walls, they can just tell me. I only post couples photos on one wall here. I actually find some of the couples stuff that I see people post on others walls a little confronting, not to mention the comments. I don't know what they are thinking with what they post and say.

I do appreciate the female form, and actually have a blog for erotic/artful pictures. I do understand that reasoning, but i'm talking about pics that you really wouldn't put into that category because they are more graphic, there is a distinct difference and I still have to keep reminding some people of that. I agree with what has been said before. When I look at the Comments posted by some other guys, sometimes they're obviously fantasies of their own, which appears a bit inappropriate and awkward. This very looks like a male fantasy : Picture. The way she looks right at the camera and exposes her pussy is suggestive for the viewer in a provocative way.
Then again, out of my 11 friends, 2 are lesbian, 6 are bisexual and only 3 are straight. It's refreshing to know there are some guys here that think before they post. I'm far from being a prude, and I have nothing against porn. I believe there is a place for it, I just don't want to look at it every time I go to my profile.
I notice no guys have addressed the question of what they would think or how they would feel of a woman posted a male nude pic on their wall. Come on guys, I'd love to hear what you think.

It is always best to find out and then follow the posting desires of the one you are going to post to. It isn't that hard to do... JUST ASK if it is not already written in their profile. Personally I think it is a good idea to let each new friend know up front when accepting them though, it saves a lot of issues; unless they simply don't follow your wishes. And if they don't follow your wishes.... gone. They have shown that their own desires are what is important and they don't care about yours.
As for if a female posted a male picture on my wall:
That would depend. If it was a COUPLE, that is fine, but only from ONE person. If it is a male in general, unless it was a FUNNY picture, it is not welcome and I would take it as an insult (unless it was in response to an inside joke or something). I just don't see the need for it. And like others pointed out, the reasons why a female nude (or just female in general) might be posted tend to be a wider range of things.

A lot of what you guys posted are nice sentiments. Sure, we all appreciate the female form and enjoy sharing it with others. That explains the sensual/artsy stuff. I can appreciate when someone has a feel for what I like and they post in kind...I return the favor. I would find it strange and awkward, to be honest. Unless, like I said in my previous post, it was a picture that represents me or the way one of my friends perceives me. But then it would be more humorous to me than sensual/sexual.

When I post on someone's wall I tend to make sure that it's something that is relevant to what they want. I'm not going to go oh year this random photo will be fine for everyone's wall. I tend to treat it as I wouldn't want shit on my wall so why should I put it on someone else's.

My point EXACTLY. Most dudes would hate it if i posted a pic of another dude either with his dick showing or not. So why is it different for women? Whether it's an artistic or graphic picture of a woman, why do some guys assume some of us don't get 'weirded out' by a picture of a female on our wall?
I realise it's not ALL male friends who post pictures of women on other women's walls, I realise a lot of you do make the effort to find out what each individual person prefers, and thank you for that.

I confess I don't understand that one; maybe its the sensual and sexy image of women that we've all been trained to view as "erotica". I personally like nice pictures of both sexes.
