You are such trouble! Seriously I believe this matter is still ongoing and asking members to use a VPN, to workaround the issues, is not a solution; rather it gives the development team some space to investigate it further.

Do you still need to use a VPN Jacqui? I had to start using one again last week, but after I reported it, it was fixed in 24 hours. I mainly use an iPad mini. Hugs 🤗

Yes i still have to use a VPN its a bit annoying as if i forget to turn it off some other sites wont give me access if im using a VPN . warm hugs back 😘

To be honest with you we never really got to the bottom of that problem. However, using a VPN did seem to resolve the issue. I will mention it again to the development team but they are so terribly busy at the moment I doubt they will have the time to pick it back up since you do have a work around albeit perhaps somewhat inconvenient. And yes the sun has finally appeared after a fairly bleak winter. Great for me since I can start coarse fishing again. :)

In those rooms that allow images, you will see over to the right of the message box, a camera icon. Click on that to post from your profile media centre or upload an external image link.

Hi John, i think I have found the reason why I have to use a VPN.

Was looking through some old chats with a good frirnd about 4 yeras ago and came across a discussion about privacy settings om my browser (Firefox) I checked and saw that settings i had previously unchecked were now checked again. See attached, Unchecking them seems to have solved the problem,

Jacqui... great news,,, I was just about to suggest to you today that it might be related to Firefox settings (parental control). 😇 Now by pure coincidence I changed broadband providers yesterday, TalkTalk to Sky, and for me the site was unusable. Everything was page not found and error please try later. Several hours later I identified the issue... Sky shield by default not allowing access to adult sites... changed and now fine. Stupid thing is I could access the site but everything timed out... what a rubbish implementation.

If you're using the browsers incognito/private version, you'll likely need to change this each time the application is closed.

If you are connecting from Europe, the problem is most likely because of peering. Don't ask me what that is exactly, but it has to do with Cloudflare and image hosting, and some ISP's are not booking enough bandwidth, it seems. Using a VPN makes the site usable most of the time.
