What you should hear when ticking/switch on Play Sound under Settings in chatroom.

After that, nothing was heard using @ mention nor when user would post in room.

When it was first launched, you'd get notifications for both and for all conversations.

I like the new look 🙃

Since the update I am no longer able to post pictures that are within my private albums where as previously I could. I find this very frustrating as I do not wish to make all my albums public as I am selective of what I post and only with users I feel comfortable with. Please help.

From other post w/in this thread, they're working on it.

Plus, you can have said album open on another window, copy link and post in room.

Once a pvt pic is shared, it's no longer pvt as others have seen it, so privacy, online? Lol

Ok, when it comes to notification sound, nothing is heard after turning on Play Sound under chatroom Settings.

I made a little lush chatroom drive-by before I logged off, mentions were seen but no notifications were heard.

Okok, that test is done w/.

And, we're off.

Using iPad. Set up private room. Could not close. The cog bottom right hand corner will not open. I used my phone, Android device and was able to go into the room and close using that. Is there an issue with Apple devices?

Seems to be w/ all devices as I just logged on through my iPad, used the chatroom and after being @ mentioned, no sound was heard. The only sound you get is turning on the Play Sound option notifying you that your chosen option has been turned on, but that’s all.

After some usage a couple of things :

• The lounge freezes a lot

• The fact that you have to scroll down to see newly added chat

• On a phone it's pretty crowded

This has had me close the tab a couple of times because it annoyed me. Other little things i solved by asking others or good ole trial and error lol. Thanks to everyone who is working on this!!

And this is another point i forgot. I select images from my pvt folder to show in pic rooms but do not wish to have these on continous display. Call me a tease 😆😆

Are you still having a problem with the new chat setup? Whenever I am in a chatroom there is a really long lag whenever I try to view someone's profile or whenever I type something and want it to go to the room I'm in or if I try to change rooms. It's really frustrating.

The new chat wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't such a long lag when I try to do something. Whenever I type something I want to go into the room I am in or if I click on chatter to see their profile or block them or send them a private message the lag is so long I swear my screen freezes up. But it doesn't, it moves eventually.

Did the sound stop working for everyone?

I can't View a members profile from the room. Also someone made a private room, gave me the password and I can't get in the room. What happen to the Ladies of Lush room ? It was there and now it's gone.

New issue this morning. Windows 10/Edge ... tapping on a member name in either the Members list, chat area, or when tagged, does display the context menu for the user, but selecting "View Profile" no longer opens a browser tab with the user profile. All the other context menu options (Private Message, Mention, Block, Report) still seem to work.

I found the same... until I clicked on the PICTURE displayed in the drop-down.. and the profile opened!

I have found that once you have tapped their name in the room or from the list, then tap on their name in red in the box. The profile will then open.

Oh, and for the ones that don't like seeing blocked users in chat, they blessed you w/ the option.

Settings have been updated but now, you don't even get sound notification that you turned on said option.

I am still having problems with the new chat. There is a very long lag whenever I try to do something. If I click on one of the chatters in the chatters box and try to select mention, private message or ANYTHING ELSE it takes forever. It's no fun anymore going to LUSH CHAT. It's like my laptop freezes up but then eventually it works. I use GOOGLE CHROME (the one I used before the new chat), I have tried FIREFOX and MICROSOFT EDGE and it does the same thing in all of them.

Chat does not recognize &, <, or >.

I keep getting bounced back to lounge call the time.

I cannot view profiles while in rooms

And the room spins so fast at times

Because there is no limit to the number of people that can be in a room and the real estate for actual chat is so small, comments fly up and off the screen before it's possible to read them all.

Lately, each time I try to chat, the Camera banner is showing full size. I don't want it at all, but the Settings control does not hold.

The default setting should be 'hidden.' Hardly anyone uses cams or wants to see those that do, and yet half the screen is devoted to them.

I have noticed a couple of things, 1 in the new chat rooms the emoji appear as there characters rather than the image of the emoji. 2, in clicking on a room members profile the system doesn’t add this as another page as previously I find this a bind. 3 sometimes I have to refresh the page to see my comment appear which means I end up back in the lounge rather than the room I am currently in

When i try go to a specific chat room,,it will always go back to the lounge room for no reason,is very annoying..Can i fix this or is this a problem with the new chatroom

I don't suppose anyone ever thought to unveil this new chatroom set up on a server which wasn't in production and thus live - so the admins could experiment and fine tune or make changes to what would be a 95% completed chat product before it was rolled out to the production chat servers. Like how 100% of the rest of the computing world (with any credentials and experience) would choose to roll out a new product. Instead this is like Microsoft rolling out a new OS and asking the current customer base to make suggestions to improve the lousy 1st efforts.
