That is of course assuming that they are not being truthful. I am sure some are, and some... probably not. But I would not go as far as to mock them all as being untrue. And we both know that pictures can be VERY misleading. And we both know that you can be long AND have girth. So...... meh..... it is all good. If you are comfortable with your size there is no need to mock what others post about theirs, whether it is true or not.
