I absolutely agree with dwn4u, using somebody else's picture in an avatar would be fraud, unless it's obvious that the user obviously has no intention to appear as an impostor. I.e. using an image of batman, James Bond or Tarzan would not give me the impression that he/she claims to be the person on the picture. However I hate fake profiles.

I am not in any way ashamed of my body or any of the rest of me but hide my face for professional reasons. I've met several Lushies face to face and have sent pictures to curious ones many more times. Yes my avatar is really me....

That is fine with me, I am a real person and never claimed to be an imposter. There is reasons why I never post anything about myself on line on such a site as Lush example, where I live (small community) and the type of field I work in. Hence why I keep my private life to myself.
As you can see I have posted a lot over the years I have been a member of lush so I am obviously not a bot of any kind.

I've met some amazing people here and from two continents away, does it really matter what they look like?
