On my regular Facebook feed, I get all sorts of stories/images/gifs. However, lately there have been several posts of "curvy" women in bikinis and how they now feel positive in their bodies. Most of the comments from women are variations of "you go girl" or "I have worn a swimsuit in public for x months/years, but now I think I will."

However, when I post about that positive feeling I have wearing a Speedo, the comments are often, but not always, negative.

FYI, there is a Speedo group in Lush.

I always find Speedos to look uncomfortable so doubt I would wear one. But, yeah, if encouraging a positive self-image rather than a perfect swimsuit body is the goal, it should apply to all genders.

Although wearing one is a good way to advertise the size of your penis, I found it constricting and uncomfortable, especially when I began to get hard.

Listen, here's the reality: Women are the gender more sympathized with, thus they will receive way more grace with body positivity. It's best to accept that is the way it is, and move forward accordingly.

Like many things in life, not everything is fair. Just roll with it.
