I love your avatar, and you.

I will do another audio for my next poem; I just don't know when that will be. The words in my head have gone silent atm, but I have been quite busy.

I'm really looking forward to this chat room. My Christmas day will be fairly quiet after the kids unwrap their presents.

Due to the time difference, maybe we could all try and set a time to meet there that suits us all? If only for 5/10 mins to have an Xmas hug, maybe listen to this Greg Lake song? I could teach you all some Fortnite dances? I am pretty good at them now. My kids say otherwise but what do they know?

Has anyone else put their tree up yet? I am going to have to cave soon and let the kids do ours. I will post a pic once we do. I merely put the thing up and let the kids have at it. It looks bloody hideous by the time they've finished, and I top it off by spraying it with fake snow. They love it, so everyone is happy.

Just dropped in to say a quick hello! Now that I got over the tenth anniversary of my husbands untimely death, my next tragic tenth anniversary is coming up in January. I won’t burden anyone with the details especially this time of the year. I think that’s the reason that I have a tendency to overdo the Holidays. A defensive mechanism for myself, perhaps and trying to make things special for my son. He’s 17 now and I think maybe next year I’ll fill him in on the reason why his mother is paranoid about parking garages. I wish you all peace, love, happiness and joy! Blessings to all of you because I know that I have a safe haven available here when I need one.

There is only one demon in my head. He's been there for 40-odd years, but I'm learning to live with him. I don't expect to get rid of him. I think we can all learn to live with our demons, and maybe the more fortunate amongst us might get rid of a few.

The trick for me, the thing that keeps me getting up every day, is to remember the good times. I remember the nearly 3 years I spent with my late first husband. I remember the cuddles I get with my present husband. I remember my parents and most of my foster parents. Yes, even my alcoholic mother; she was a good friend when I needed one.

My demon is situational. I have no idea what it is like to have demons manufacturing themselves in your head. I am sure, however, that if you look you will find good times to help you through the bad, or at least speed your recovery.

If you really can't find any good times you are in the right place, we are your good times, we will help you climb out of whatever hole you have fallen in.

Hugs as needed and for the ladies, kisses on whichever damp spots you desire. Kiera, don't worry about Sprite, I've got her covered.
