Oh dear....

I was 28 and I practically had to jump my non-aggressive boyfriend. I seemed to be a magnet for shy guys or losers that were not attractive. I was relatively cute but very shy myself. I think older virgins do have to be somewhat aggressive but able to take no for an answer.

Many guys try to punch above their weight. Dress nicely and ask an ordinary looking girl out if you are an older virgin. They may be horny.
