Changing your online status

Is there a way to change your online status from showing you online to being away or showing you offline?

Have a look at your privacy options ... Profile menu 'Settings' > 'Privacy'.

You can opt not to be shown online on the Home page and stop members from viewing your profile/sending you messages using the 'Allow Contact From' options.

Does that explain why I occasionally get an 'error 404' message if I click on someone's profile please?

I know that it is not the same as being blocked but I have had that message come up, I had thought of asking in a separate thread but here seems to be an opportunity.

No... we did have a problem a couple of days ago with viewing profiles which is now resolved. If you try to view a profile and that member has you blocked you get a message along the lines of 'you will be shot at dawn if you do that again'

Thank you although I think it happened a couple of times today.

I am blocked by one (I think only one) member but I am sure that she must regret doing so every day.

Really let me know if that occurs again... 404 page not found should not be happening.

Okay John, I will. I am sure it happened twice earlier today.

Is there a way to get rid of the green dot/bubble on your profile when trying to be invisible while online ..just wondering ..pity we cannot sign in incognito
