Does anyone know what this odd highlighted/alternate text size is about? I've seen it in various comments and now in one of mine. Is it triggered by word count, as it is always at the end of longish replies.

Let me know and I'll delete this if it's already on the long list of need-to-fix stuff.

Sorry for the crap image. The Who Cares? Compress It to the Max upload norm here makes it a blurry mess on my desktop and nearly unreadable on my phone.

Hopefully this pic is better.

Special powers gifted to you for being awesome? My original was only 75k, then mashed down to 10 here. It was uploaded at 750p wide, reduced to 500, then displayed at 1000. Little wonder it looks like crap. Why this enormous disparity of results? Should we simply quit uploading anything unless it's for the Gallery, where size doesn't matter (sorry guys) for the most part?

Never mind. Whole different subject.

Thank you Natalya. Far better

Your image shows up fine while being logged into site(Samsung Internet Browser)

Not logged on through Google Chrome.

Photo size limit

The site will allow you to upload photos that are no more than 64MB in file size.

Pics look distorted through other devices at times.

Edit:1 Removed pics cause they weren't needed.

Edit: to answer your question about odd highlight/text size, I have no idea but can look different if on mobile. I've never seen it until now.

Kis, it's definitely NOT tied to word length. I have some wordy readers whose comments are fine. I have had it happen to me when I was typing really fast, and I assumed I hit a key (or combo of keys) that made it change, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Thanks for that, Kimmi. It looks like you are right about the key combo. I copied the comment, pasted it as plain text in Ultraedit, copied that and pasted it over the original -- no more highlighting. The Lush editor apparently has built-in commands that we aren't aware of. Be nice if there was a list posted, so we could correct accidents like this.

I noticed this on one of mine the other day - I accidentally hit enter, adding a linebreak, then deleted it, resulting in that weird effect. Don't know if that's the only thing that causes it, but definitely what did in that case.

To fix it I just highlighted, cut, and pasted again directly in the comment edit box. However, I can't remember if the paste I used was the one that appeared by my cursor (which preserves formatting) or the one of the Google keyboard (which posts as plain text).
