Disappearing "Likes" on comments

I had thought this was fixed, but I am noticing once again that "Likes" I give to story comments are disappearing eventually. There's comments on my current comp entry that I know I have liked, but they show as "0 Likes", which is a problem I had thought was fixed. Using Firefox on Linux right now but I'm pretty sure it's the same with Firefox on Android when I use my phone.

It was fixed once? I've never seen them retained for more than a day ever. I just checked my last few stories and there isn't a comment Like to be seen and I know I liked them all.

It's a known bug and the development team are aware of it.

That's probably why I thought it was fixed. Saw some past discussion of it or something. Thanks, John.

It would be a lovely Christmas present if this minor but irritating issue were fixed. 🙄😊

The number of times I commented on a newer member's story, they like my comment, then like it again the next day, and the next... I then end up messaging them, letting them know it is a well-known issue. Does the same happen on SS?

Probably but I would need to check. They keep the two on pretty much the same version of the software minus a few things like chat and smutty emoticons on the SS side.
