how can someone you blocked still follow you?

Assuming this is correct, i.e. someone you have blocked can still follow you, or perhaps the follow was done prior to the block and it remains thereafter, it doesnt constitute 'interacting' with you or knowing when you are on the site which is what the block feature is there for ... so ....

Someone I blocked and unfriended a couple of months back began following me yesterday. I would prefer they not see me at all which is what I thought the combination of those two functions achieved.

My Timeline indicate he began following meand my avatar showed on his profile page that he was following me but his avatar did not appear on my profile that he was. Anyway, I unblocked him then reblocked him and my avatar disappeared from his profile page.

Its only for stories. Anyone could sign out and back in as a guest and still read your stories. I think its being a little melodramatic that you dont want someone to read your stories because you had a falling out. You cant stop them. The block feature stops them from contacting you. That's it...and that should be enough.

I would suggest the answer to that is no however its not relevant if he can simply 'Follow' again.
